BECAUSE it is the holiday season (and I missed posting for at least two weeks) here's another chapter. Out of the goodness of my heart. Enjoy!

Cathryn could plainly see the white surrounding the red in Chica's eyes and was aiming to smack her with her two-inch-thick metal pole when something slammed into her side and sent her flying to the left. Her head barely missed the edge of the desk, and she didn't even have time to scream before she made impact against the ground.

Immediately, her side and back throbbed, and Cathryn let out a low groan. She clutched the pole tightly to her chest as her mind struggled to keep up. What was that?

She forced herself to sit up, only to witness Bonnie and Chica, hands locked, in a shoving match stumbling towards her!

Cathryn threw herself to the side, her stomach pressing into the feet of her rolling chair, moments before they trampled where she'd been lying. She attempted a gasp. Her head was light.

"Whoa!" Bonnie shouted. His torso moved in such a way that Cathryn was almost tricked into thinking he'd sucked in a breath, trying to drag himself out of a trance and into the present. He certainly blinked that way. "Chica."

He'd pinned the bird chest first against the desk, but not for long. She reared her head back and slammed her skull into his chin.

The rabbit barely let himself be knocked back before clamping his hands on her shoulders and smashing Chica against the wall and window above the desk.

Cathryn let out a relieved breath when her lungs started working again and she realized the window hadn't broken. She was considering trying to help when Chica thrashed violently and sent both robots stumbling backwards along the edge of the desk. Cathryn lunged out of the way a second time.

Papers flitted through the air as pile after pile were thwacked off the table in the fight. It was a miracle both animatronics only got close to destroying the computer and didn't completely shatter it! Thoughts rampaged through Cathryn's head.

Oh no, Bonnie had messed up her plan! How was she supposed to get anywhere near Chica's mouth now that she was angry? And how was she expected to explain the mess to Sam if she lived to the end of her shift?

"Cathryn!" Bonnie snapped, grabbing her attention. "What is wrong with you?" He wrestled Chica's arms behind her and pressed the bird against the wall opposite of the door she had entered.

Suddenly, Bonnie had become a very useful ally, with his strength and his imposing height – Cathryn went to his chin, but counting the height of his ears, he may have even been an inch taller than Freddy! – but with the speed Chica was fighting, it wasn't hard to tell his advantage would only be temporary.

"Me? You messed up my plan!"

"You didn't have a plan!"

Chica bucked aggressively, making Bonnie unbalanced enough that she could worm out of his grip. She stepped to the side and turned frighteningly quick to face Cathryn, their gazes locking.

Chills ran down Cathryn's spine. An eerie sense of déjà vu hit her as Chica launched herself towards her. Cathryn frantically tried to wriggle out of reach, but it wasn't enough.

At least it wasn't until Bonnie tackled the chicken halfway like some type of professional football player. He crashed on top of her lower back, his legs positioned to try and block himself from any blows from her shiny, uncovered metal feet. He pressed his weight on her torso.

Cathryn about congratulated his efforts when Chica's fuzzy hand wrapped around her ankle. She screamed, struggling to brandish her weapon while trying to escape, as the chicken pulled her body closer across the floor. Cathryn finally managed to get a good enough grip on the pole with her clammy hands, and she brought the metal stick down on Chica's head with her eyes squinted shut.
