Leona gave a low chuckle. "You don't get it. This isn't her first rodeo. Herbivore here's been handling the strategies for my spelldrive team for months. You think we've been winning on brute strength alone?"

Ace shot up from his seat, wide-eyed. "Wait, what? You never told us that, Yuu!"

Deuce blinked in disbelief. "You've been running strategies for Leona this whole time?!"

Grim snorted. "Hah! Shows what you know. My hench-human's got brains and brawn!"

Yuu shrugs. "It's not a big deal. Leona needed someone to organize the plays, and... well, I like a challenge."

Leona's smirk grew, his sharp canines peeking. "And you've delivered. Don't downplay it, Herbivore—you've been crucial to our wins. Honestly, if the dorms were smart, they'd all be fighting to snatch you up."

Ruggie whistled low, shaking his head. "Man, hearing Leona dish out praise is weirder than finding Kalim in a library."

Ace snorted, trying to stifle his laughter. "What's next? Is he gonna say 'please' and 'thank you'?"

Leona narrowed his eyes at Ace, his tone cool but firm. "You're pushing your luck, Card Soldier."

Ace froze, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Okay, okay, I'll shut up."

Yuu bit back a grin, looking at the mix of exasperation and amusement on everyone's faces. "Alright, can we focus? We only have two days to prepare, and there's a lot to get done."

Vil nodded, though his expression remained sharp. "Fine. But don't forget, this isn't just about tactics. You'll need proper gear and supplies. Whatever you have now won't cut it."

Ruggie leaned against the doorframe, grinning. "What's next, Vil? Matching designer survival outfits?"

Vil shot him a withering look. "Some of us understand the importance of preparation. Unlike you, scavenger."

Before Ruggie could retort, Yuu stepped in. "Enough. Everyone's got their role to play, and I trust you all to handle it. Let's just make sure we're ready when the time comes."

Leona stood, his towering presence commanding attention. "You heard her. Get to work."

He glanced at Yuu, his green eyes flickering with something unreadable. "Don't let these idiots drag you down, Herbivore. You're smarter than that."

As the others began to trickle out, Yuu stayed behind with Grim still perched on her lap. Her mind raced, the weight of the upcoming journey pressing down on her. They were heading into uncharted territory, and while she trusted Leona's faith in her abilities, she couldn't shake the gnawing feeling that this was only the beginning.

Leona lingered by the door, watching her for a moment longer. "You've got guts, Yuu. Just make sure you're ready for whatever's coming."

Yuu looked up, meeting his gaze. "I will. Thank you, Leona."

He gave her a nod of approval and made his way out of the room to check for anything else that was dangerous while he was already here.

Meanwhile, Yuu was in the midst of contemplating which of her schoolmates would be appropriate for this so called "quest" as Grim and Ace would call it if the were here.

"I bet EVERY thaumark i have that we certainly won't make it out alive!"

Yuu shifted her gaze to Grim who has his mouthful of tuna. "Grim! don't jinx us like that! and I know you don't have any money. I bet you don't even have a singular thaumark to your name!" She tries to stifle her giggles into her pillow.
