Shared Spaces & Hidden Desires ? Seungcheol

Waking up today feeling so good and so ready to meet new people. I'm so excited and so nervous. What kind of people am I gonna meet? Would I get to meet friends I'll be able to resonate with?

I hurriedly took a shower and put on some light make-up and put on my clothes. I look in the mirror checking myself out before spritzing my perfume for the final touch and run downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning! Are you excited?" Seungcheol asks as his smiles spot me running towards the dining table and sitting across from him.

"Yes! I can't wait," I reply with a smile back.

Then the house staff walks in with two plates of our breakfast and places them softly infront of us. We both thanked her together and quickly dug in.

We clear our plates in record time as if both of us have been starving for days when in reality, we're just too impatient to leave for the orientation.

We both zoom into the elevator together. The doors open up revealing our car and driver already waiting for us, opening up the car door. We jump in quickly and ask our driver to drive as fast as possible to our campus.

The car stops in front of a huge campus building, leaving both of our jaws on the floor as we look out the window.

"We're here!" I squeal at him as his eyes widen with excitement. Then I took a deep breath and breathed it out slowly before we both exited the car.

He circles the car and stands beside me, both of us unable to take the first step towards the campus.

We both start walking together, walking past all the people and looking all around taking everything in. None of us are able to mutter a word, still in awe. When we finally reached the orientation spot, the place was already crowded with people.

That's when the nerves start kicking in. Who do I approach first? I turn to Seungcheol and say, "Okay, I'm gonna go talk to some people. I'll meet you back here after and we can leave. Sounds good?"

"Yep! Have fun, don't be nervous, I'll see you later," Seungcheol answers and waves at me as I walk away from him.

I smile at everyone I pass and try to be polite and friendly but everyone seems to already be in their own groups and it feels weird for me to just jump in and introduce myself.

I look around trying to find someone I can talk to when I spot two girls talking to each other in a secluded area. I slowly approach them and smile before joining them, "Hi. Am I interrupting?"

They both turn to me and one of them replies, "No! We were just introducing ourselves to one another. I'm Jiwon, I'm a design major. Nice to meet you." Then the other one adds, "I'm Sujin and I'm a biochem major."

"I'm yn, I'm a business major. It's nice to meet you both," I introduce myself shortly. Then it fell silent for a moment before the three of us started laughing.

All the nerves I felt earlier are now gone as we continue talking more and more about ourselves and I find to be able to be comfortable around them pretty quickly.

I start walking around watching people and overhearing conversations. I check my phone for a second and accidentally bump into someone.

"You must either be blind or you're just not using those eyes," the guy says sarcastically. He looks so innocent and nice but damn does he have to be that sarcastic? I just met him.

"Sorry," I quickly answer but he laughs and slaps my arm. "Bro chill I'm just playing," he jokes then adds, "I'm Jeonghan by the way and you are?"

"Seungcheol," I answer and sigh with relief. Thank goodness he isn't an asshole.
