"Good morning, baby," Seungjae's deep voice rumbled through the speaker, still husky from sleep.
A slow smile crept onto my lips as I rolled onto my side, snuggling deeper into my sheets. "Mmm... Good morning to you too. You should've stayed over."
"I know... Sorry, I had something to take care of."
I huffed playfully. "Make it up to me later."
His chuckle sent warmth through my chest. "Of course, baby. Anything for you."
"Mhmm..."
"Hurry and get up. I'll pick you up in an hour. Don't keep missing classes."
I blinked, suddenly more awake. "Wait—how do you know that?"
His laughter was soft but teasing. "Because I should know everything about you."
"Stalker."
"More like a devoted fan."
I laughed, making him laugh along with me, the sound easy and familiar.
"Alright, seriously. Get up. I'll be over soon. See you, baby."
"Fineeee... See you, baby."
As the call ended, I stared at the ceiling for a moment before forcing myself out of bed and into the bathroom.
Damn, it's been a while since I actually went to class.
Seungcheol
Across from me, Mingyu lazily sipped on his coffee while Jeonghan stirred his, a smirk already tugging at his lips like he was up to something.
"So," Mingyu started, stretching out the word. "What happened after I left?"
Jeonghan shot him a knowing look. "Wouldn't you like to know?"
Mingyu scoffed. "Whatever. I had a greaaaat night, so I could care less."
Jeonghan and I rolled our eyes at the same time.
Then, the sound of a door opening caught our attention.
All three of us turned toward her.
yn stepped out of her room, already dressed, her hair neatly styled, looking way too put together for this early in the morning as she's walking down the stairs.
Where is she going?
Jeonghan, of course, wasted no time. "Another date, sweetheart?"
She crossed her arms, eyeing him with playful irritation. "You again? I'm getting bored."
She walked toward us, and my jaw clenched.
