Maya's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "I do not snore."
She looked affronted by the accusation, her pride not wanting to admit the truth.

Week 3 Day 3
_____________Carina smirked, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, you most definitely do."
She pulled into their driveway, stopping the car and turning to Maya, still grinning. "It's cute, though."
Maya huffed, her cheeks tinted pink. "Cute, right. As if I could ever be cute."
She unbuckled her seatbelt, her stomach reminding her of the food that was waiting for them. "But whatever, can we just go inside and eat already?"
Carina laughed at Maya's response, enjoying teasing her a little too much. "You can try acting all tough and unamused all you want, but I know better. You secretly love all the attention and pampering."
She got out of the car, grabbing the food and walking around to open the passenger side door for Maya. "Yes, yes, we're going inside."
Maya grumbled in response, not wanting to give Carina the satisfaction of being right, even though she had a point.
She got out of the car, the promise of food making her forget any annoyance she might have had. "Finally. I'm starving."
Carina led the way inside, setting the bags of food down on the kitchen counter. She watched as Maya eagerly rummaged through the bags, pulling out burgers, fries, and everything else she had craved.
Carina couldn't help but feel a rush of affection seeing her pregnant wife so happy and satisfied. "Enjoy, Bambina. I'm getting the ice cream."
Maya didn't need to be told twice. She immediately started devouring the food with gusto, her hunger taking over.
Between bites, she managed to speak up, her voice muffled by a mouthful of burger. "This is the best thing I've ever tasted."
Carina chuckled at Maya's enthusiastic eating, her own stomach growling in response. She returned with two bowls of ice cream, one for each of them.
She sat on the kitchen stool next to Maya, her eyes watching her wife devour the food with amusement. "Looks like someone was extra hungry."
Maya looked at Carina. "Well I am eating for two so it makes sense also can we talk."
Carina nodded, her expression curious but concerned. "Of course, we can talk. What's on your mind?"
She put her bowl of ice cream down, giving her full attention to Maya.
Maya looked at Carina. "So when we were at the hospital you were overbearing me."
Carina frowned, a hint of guilt in her eyes. She knew she had been a bit overbearing, but it was only out of worry for Maya's health. "I know I was. I'm sorry if I was being too much. It's just... I worry about you, and our baby."
Maya sighed. "I know you mean well, but honestly, I felt like you were treating me like a child. I get that I'm pregnant, but I'm not made of glass, you know?"
Carina's heart stung a bit at Maya's words, but she knew she had a point. "You're right. I'm sorry for treating you like that. It's just... I can't stand the thought of anything happening to you or the baby, and I guess I let my fear take over."
Maya softened a bit, seeing the genuine worry in Carina's eyes. "I get that. Trust me, I'm worried about us too. But you have to remember that I'm still me, and I can handle myself. Pregnant or not, I'm still strong and capable."
