As Maya drifted off to sleep, feeling the soft whispers of Carina's words caressing her senses, a sense of serenity descended upon them. Maya's body became heavier, her breathing deeper, signaling that she had finally surrendered to the sweet embrace of slumber.
Carina, knowing that Maya was now at peace, settled back into their shared space, her fingers tracing gentle patterns on Maya's skin, offering a comforting touch even in her slumber.
The room filled with tranquility, and the two souls found solace in the safety of their bond, the night enveloping them in its protective embrace.

Week 6 Day 1
_____________
In the morning Maya and Carina waked up very early they have to hey ready to head back to work Maya looked at Carina. "You are going to drop off Marina at the daycare at Grey Sloan right."Carina nodded, her voice still filled with affection. "Yes, bella, I'll take care of dropping off Marina at daycare. You just focus on getting ready for your shift. You've got this."
Maya nodded. "We need to talk."
Carina's expression shifted, a tinge of concern coloring her features. She shifted to sit upright beside Maya in bed, giving her attention fully. "What's on your mind, Bambina? Is everything okay?"
Maya sighed. "I don't know if everything okay you reject my proposal to marry me again so i don't if everything is ok."
Carina's eyes softened, a mix of sadness and understanding washing over her. She reached out to take Maya's hand, their fingers intertwining gently. "Maya, I love you with all my heart, and I want nothing more than to be your wife. Please believe me when I say that my hesitation is not about my commitment to you or our relationship. It' something else."
Maya pulled her hand back and got out of bed kiss Marina forehead. "I am heading to work see when i get home I guess."
Carina's voice carried a note of sadness as she watched Maya leave the room without looking back. "Maya, please wait. There's so much we need to talk about. Let's not leave things like this."
Her gaze remained fixed on the empty doorway, a hint of worry creasing her brow. She gently stroked Marina's hair, finding comfort in their innocent, oblivious presence amidst the turbulence.
As Maya drove to work, her mind swirled with the unresolved conversation with Carina. The pain of their unfinished discussion lingered, casting a shadow over her usually clear thoughts. She tried to push it aside, focusing on the task at hand.
Upon arriving at the station, she found her shift already bustling with activity. The familiar chaos of her work environment provided a welcome distraction from the turmoil in her personal life.
As Maya made her way through the station, Jack noticed the shift in her demeanor. He knew her too well to ignore the subtle signs. Sensing that she might need a moment, he approached her cautiously.
Jack spoke gently, his voice filled with concern and empathy. "Hey, Maya. Are you okay? You seem pretty quiet today. Not your usual self."
Maya tried to put on a brave face, though the weariness of the unresolved situation with Carina was evident. She mustered a weak smile and replied, "I'm good, Jack. Just got a lot on my mind, that's all. No need to worry, okay?"
Jack studied her for a moment, his intuition telling him that there was more to it than she let on. But he also knew that pushing someone, especially Maya, to open up prematurely could backfire.
He simply nodded and replied, "Okay, Maya. Just know that we're here for you, alright? If you ever need to talk or just a break, we've got your back."
Maya appreciated Jack's understanding and support. She managed a small nod of gratitude. "Thanks, Jack. I appreciate it, really. Just gotta push through today and focus on the job at hand."
