Raised in the cold shadows of a toxic family, YASHNA has learned to guard her heart. Love, to her, is nothing but a mask for manipulation, and trust is a rare commodity she can't afford. That is, until fate throws her into the path of VISHWANTH RAJU...

The dim lighting of the posh pub cast a golden glow over the sleek interiors. Laughter and chatter filled the air, blending with the rhythmic beats of the DJ's music. At the center of the scene, Maya Raju was the star of the evening. Dressed in a sleek black dress that hugged her frame, her presence was magnetic. Her friends surrounded her, their laughter echoing as they raised their glasses in celebration.
In a distant corner of the room, Ram sat nursing his drink, his gaze fixed on Maya. His jaw tightened every time she leaned in to speak with another man, her laughter ringing out like a melody. He knew they were just her friends, but the possessiveness coiled in his chest wouldn't let him relax. The thought of her being so comfortable with others when she barely seemed to notice his discomfort gnawed at him.
Maya, ever perceptive, caught the tension in Ram's demeanor. Her sharp eyes noticed the way his shoulders were hunched, the way his drink remained untouched for minutes. Excusing herself from the group, she sauntered over to him, her heels clicking against the polished floor.
"Babe," she called softly, sliding into the seat next to him. Her tone was light, but her gaze was piercing. "What's up ? You've been sulking here all night."

Ram leaned back, crossing his arms over his chest. "What's up ? Really, Maya ? You're too busy with your fan club to even notice me."
Maya tilted her head, a playful smile dancing on her lips. She leaned closer, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "You're being kiddish," she teased. "You know you're the only one who matters to me."

Ram's expression didn't soften. If anything, her casual response seemed to irritate him further. He looked her square in the eye. "Am I ? Because it sure doesn't feel like it."
Maya's smile faltered for a fraction of a second before it returned, sharper this time. "Watch it," she said in a low voice. "If you keep talking like that, I might just have to kill you." Her tone was playful, but there was an edge to it, one that left Ram uncertain if she was entirely joking.
