"Your choice in men is pathetic, Tanya," Sourabh sneered, his cold eyes locking on hers. "You should've known better than to think this fool could protect you. You had the chance to be with me, to have everything you ever wanted, and you chose this ?"

Rahul glared at Sourabh, his jaw clenched tightly, blood trickling from the corner of his lip. "She chose love," he spat, his voice defiant despite the sting on his cheek.
Sourabh laughed darkly, grabbing Tanya by her waist and pulling her close, his fingers digging into her side. Tanya stiffened, her body going rigid, but she didn't resist. Fear paralyzed her. She dared not meet Rahul's eyes, knowing the betrayal in her own would cut too deep.
"She doesn't know the meaning of love," Sourabh said with a twisted smirk. "Do you, Tanya ? All you know is greed. You're good at catching the eyes of men with money, but when it comes to loyalty, you're just... useless."
Tanya swallowed hard, her tears finally spilling over. "Why did you do this, Sourabh ?" she whispered, her voice trembling. "Why did you have to tell him ? I was doing everything you asked......."
"Everything I asked ?" Sourabh barked, his anger flaring. He shoved her back slightly but kept a firm grip on her arm. "You couldn't even do the 'simple' things I told you to do without leaving a trail ! Using your own bank account ? Really ? I trusted you with this, and you failed me, Tanya. Just like I knew you would."
His words cut deep, each one laced with venom. Tanya's heart pounded in her chest, her mind racing to find a way out of this nightmare.
"I... I didn't think..." she started, her voice barely above a whisper.
"No, you didn't," Sourabh interrupted, his voice icy. "And now you're going to pay for your carelessness."

He turned to his men, gesturing toward Rahul with a nod. "Take him away. I don't want to hear another word out of his mouth."
"No !" Tanya cried, her voice breaking as she reached out toward Rahul. But Sourabh's grip tightened, holding her back.
Rahul struggled as Sourabh's men grabbed him, dragging him toward the door. His voice was hoarse as he yelled, "Tanya ! Don't let him do this ! Don't....."
The door slammed shut, cutting off Rahul's voice entirely.
Sourabh turned back to Tanya, his expression dark and predatory. He leaned in close, his breath hot against her ear. "Now, Tanya, it's time for you to prove just how useful you can really be."
Tanya's knees buckled, and her heart sank as she realized the depth of the trap she had fallen into.
Tanya stood frozen, her mind swirling with fear and regret. Sourabh's grip on her arm was unyielding, his cold gaze boring into her as if he could see straight through her soul.
"What do you want from me, Sourabh ?" she whispered, her voice trembling.
Sourabh chuckled, a dark, menacing sound that made her blood run cold. "What do I want ? Tanya, darling, I want you to clean up the mess you've made. And while you're at it, you'll prove your loyalty to me in ways you've never imagined."
Tanya's breath hitched, her thoughts racing to Rahul. She knew Sourabh's words carried a sinister weight. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen," she stammered. "I...I'll fix it. Just let Rahul go. He has nothing to do with this."
Sourabh's expression hardened, his hand moving to grip her chin, forcing her to meet his eyes. "Oh, he has everything to do with this now," he said through clenched teeth. "You made the mistake of involving him when you thought you could play house and escape your past."
Tanya blinked back tears, her chest tightening. "I didn't involve him. I was trying to start over, to be better."
"Better ?" Sourabh sneered, letting her go and stepping back. "You don't get to start over, Tanya. Not with me. You think you can run from the deals you made, from the power I gave you ? No. You'll pay me back, every last bit of it."
Tanya's heart sank further. "What do you want me to do ?" she asked, her voice barely audible.
Sourabh smirked, his demeanor shifting to one of calculated control. "For starters, you'll give me access to every contact you've made in the last two years. Politicians, businessmen, socialites......everyone you've charmed while pretending to be someone you're not."
Her stomach churned. "I can't do that," she protested.
"You will do that," Sourabh said, his voice sharp as a knife. "Or I'll make sure Rahul learns every dirty detail about who you really are. And trust me, Tanya, once he knows, he'll despise you as much as I do right now."
Tanya felt the weight of his threat like a crushing boulder. Sourabh's words were venomous, his intentions clear. If she didn't comply, not only would she lose Rahul, but her entire carefully curated life would crumble.
"Fine," she whispered, the word tasting bitter on her tongue. "I'll do it."
Sourabh's smile returned, but it held no warmth. "Good girl. Now, go get cleaned up. You've got work to do."
