Double Trouble?

Phuwin fell asleep soon after and I let him rest while I went to get a shower and changed, making myself decent before heading to the living room. His mother was making lunch while his dad had stepped out to handle some issues with regards to the recent scandal.

I went to the kitchen and offered my help.

"Can I help with anything, Auntie?

"It's ok my dear. Where's Phuwin?"

"He's sleeping auntie. I will wake him up in a bit to have lunch."

"Sounds good. He's had such a awful time these last few days. I'm only glad you are here for him. You and Pond though of course, your presence means a lot more to him. Funnily I never saw it coming. If anything, I did think Pond and him were dating."

I just chuckled as I agreed with her saying how I had mistaken them too and always kept asking Phuwin if Pond was joining us for anything when he invited me. Phuwin's mother just laughed.

"Well if you need to know, my son always initiates something if he likes that someone. He will only take that first step if he feels for them differently. So that was your first giveaway though I know you wouldn't know but now you do."

"Just that.. I'm way older auntie. And.."

"Tsk tsk. I hope you don't say this to my son. He will probably just retort that age doesn't matter to him. He only cares about the person and nothing else. And I can see you care about my son equally as much too. Or does the age really play a factor for you?'

I shook my head, citing that Phuwin had said the exact same thing. His mother just smiled fondly at me, saying if her son loves and accepts me, that's all that was needed. I just smiled, looking down sheepishly. Just then I heard Phuwin calling out for me. I went to the room, where he had showered, changed and was combing his hair.

"Awake? How do you feel? Better? Hmm, any pain?"

Phuwin just blushed as he shook his head. I nodded, saying his mother was making lunch for us. We joined her where she smiled upon seeing him and handed some painkillers and some juice to him. We both looked at her confused.

All she muttered was, "The walls don't exactly have soundproofing dear."

Omg, the mortification! I just looked at her blankly while Phuwin blushed and just ran off to the hall with the medicine. I looked at her stunned and all she said was, "I hope you were gentle to my baby."

If the ground could open and swallow me up, I wish it did at that point of time! The embarrassment was so real! And to think she waited till Phuwin was awake to say this!

This woman was just as bad as her son as she cheekily laughed while I scooted off.

About an hour later, Phuwin's dad came back with good news that the manager would be jailed for what he did and the scandal was being curbed by the management. They did want Phuwin to take a break for another month or so but he was grateful for it.

We had lunch together and finally his parents left for the day, saying they would be back tomorrow. We nodded as they left and I wrapped my arms around Phuwin.

"You ok baby?"

"Hmm. I am P."

"You know that I would always be here for you right?"

Phuwin nodded. I told him Pond was coming over for a bit while I went home to get more stuff and come over. Phuwin looked at me surprised.

"I wasn't kidding when I said either you move in or I with you. I'm never leaving your side ever again."

"Despite all of the trouble?"

"You aren't trouble to me, love. You are just my chaos. The one I have come to love very very much. Just that with you and Book now, it's double trouble. Both in love and friendship."

Phuwin chuckled as I held onto him, hugging him softly.
