Chapter 4: Magic Knight's Exam Pt.2

"Did she just use two abilities?!?"

"I can't look away from this fight!"

"Tinker Creation Magic: Tin Fortress!" Murkel says.

Intending on trapping me I see, heh you're not getting away with this.

"Fire Creation Magic: Inferno's Crescent!" I yell my hand outstretched, unleashing a powerful amount of fire that burns through the tin.

"OKAY! Time to wrap this up, the show is over!" I yell to anyone that can hear.

"Dark Magic: Umbral Spear." I say throwing the spear at her.

Nothing happens, and Murkel laughs, "Hah is that all you go-" a second later i'm behind her and knock her out with the spear. "Nope, not even close." I say. I tuck my hair behind my ear, unknowingly showcasing my stitches that are on top of my ear.

Silence.

"YEAH Y/N!!!" I hear, looking to my left I see Asta cheering for me and clapping. Soon I hear Yuno cheering as well, and then everyone else joins in.

"Amazing!"

"I can't believe I was able to watch that."

"Are you sure she's not a knight already?"

I walk towards Yuno and wish him luck.

"Wind Magic:Towering Tornado." In an instant, his opponent's magic was crushed and Yuno's opponent was sucked into the tornado, soon falling to the ground unconscious.

Dang I might've overdid it just a little.

Third Person POV

"She's good," Captain Yami states. "Well, we will see what team she chooses I guess."

If Yami wants her on his team I need to have her on mine, maybe then he might visit us to see her abilities. Charlotte Roselei thinks to herself.

"Good indeed, very good." William Vangeance whispers to himself. It's her, it really is her. Wow.

"That concludes the end of the Exam, now candidates whose numbers are called, please step forward."

"The squad Captains will raise their hands if they would like you to join their squads. If they are chosen by multiple captains, then they are able to choose which team they would like to join."

"But, if no one raises their hands, then that candidate will not join the Magic Knights."

"And you will leave immediately."

"Number 1: No offers"

"Number 115: No offers"

"Number 164" Yuno steps forward and all captains raise their hands. YESSS YUNO!!

"Please allow me to join the Golden Dawn." Yuno says, holding onto his necklace. The captain smiles.

"Number 165" Asta walks to the center. Please someone pick him, please. "No offers"

My heart sinks, Asta, no

"I'M NOT DONE YET" Asta yells.

"Well, I'm not surprised." A voice, Yami, states. He stands up, "No matter how high your combat skills are, if the source of your power is unknown, no one wants anything to do with it. In the end, the only thing desired for a Magical Knight is their magical powers." He says.

Soon the whole arena is flooded with mana, Yami's mana. COOL it's not too bad for me. I wonder if I can release my mana like that in the future, omg what if I am able to do that with each ability, I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS AHHH. Oh yeah, Asta.

"And since you don't have any magical powers no one wants you, that's the cruel reality."

"You said you wanted to become the Wizard King, that means you have to beat all nine of us Captains, do you still want to stick to that?" Yami asks Asta.

"Even if I can't join the Magic Knights today, no matter how many times I fall, no matter what anyone says to me, I'm still going to become the Wizard King someday!" He says, the sense of perseverance emitting off of him.

"Hahaha you're funny kid, come join my team." Yami says YES YAMI!!!

"Huh?"

"I'm telling you to join my team, and declining is not an option." Yami states.

"I'm gonna tear you from limb to limb and make your life a miserable hell, then someday you can try and become the Wizard King." Yami really is a good captain, wow.

"YES SIR" Asta says.

"Number 166" I step towards the center, and instantly all the captains raise their hands again for the second time today.

Crap, what team do I pick?

"You know which one, Y/N"

WTF was that!?!? "You know, now say it!" the voice says.

"Please allow me to join.."

(Author's Note: Fixed it up for you guys! How do you like the added scenes? I will be working on the next chapter as I publish this but do you guys prefer for me to publish the chapters as soon as I am done writing them or rework the chapters first and make sure it has everything then publishing?)
