The Two of Us // Yuno x Reader

(A.N: Hey guys so sorry for the late update, got really busy with life but I finally had sometime to finish this chapter, hope you enjoy!)

~At the Church in Hage Village~

"Father! Y/n, Yuno, and Asta sent us a letter!" Sister Lily said, holding all three letters in her hands.

Hearing the trio's names, the kids all gathered around Sister Lily to hear what was written in the letters.

"Sister Lily, whose letter are you going to read first?" Recca asked. Curiosity filled her up as she had been waiting for the arrival of the letters.

"Well, Yuno's will most likely be blunt, while Asta's is hard to read, so I will read y/n's letter first." She explained, opening the young girl's letter.

Dear Father and Sister Lily,

I hope you guys and the kids are doing well. After taking the Magic Knight's Exam, I passed, but not only that, all the captains raised their hands for me!

BUT, they all raised their hands for Yuno as well! We were the only two that had it happen to them, it was really amazing. Yuno went ahead of me in the numbers and so he got to decide the team he would be in first.

He chose the Golden Dawn, apparently, it is the best team to be on as only royals and nobles are on that team. As expected from our Yuno. Before talking about what team I chose, let me tell you what happened to Asta.

Asta did not have any of the captains ask him to be a part of their team, but then one of the captains jumped down from where they were sitting to talk to him. The captain asked him as to why he kept trying, and you know Asta, he told the captain that he wasn't done yet until he became the Wizard King.

I guess the captain liked his determination and let him in. Asta is officially a member of the Black Bulls! Can you believe it! And if Nash is reading this with you tell him I said that he has to keep his promise and become a Magic Knight as well in the future.

Now, after Asta got chosen and when it was my turn to choose a team, they were all so cool! One team had an all girls squad as I found out later, another seemed too stuck up since their captain even had a braid coming down his face. Oh! Speaking of that, I already made a friend Sister! Her name is Noelle and she's the captain's sister, although they don't get along that well.

Anyways, I ultimately decided to join the Black Bulls as well. My reasoning behind it was that even though Asta has no magic, they took him in, seeing what we see in him sister, determination and his own magic of course, not giving up. I thought to myself that if they are so accepting of one another then it will raise me to dream higher and push past my limits. That's also something our captain says, his name is Yami and he, from the one day that I met him, says to push past our limits very often.

I don't mind it as it's very good motivational advice that will keep me focusing on becoming stronger and helping more people.I will try my best to keep Asta and Yuno in line, but the next time you see us, we will definitely be stronger than we are now, I promise. Tell the kids I say hi and I miss them already, and of course tell Father I say hi.
