The Two of Us // Yuno x Reader

After Asta and I got our robes, Magna started showing Asta to his room while Vanessa showed me to my room.

"Here it is!" she said as she opened the door. I peaked my head inside before going into the room fully.

"The girls' rooms have nicer beds than the boys, but It's not as luxurious as the other team's beds." She said, leaning against the door frame.

"No, no this room is perfect, I mean anything is an upgrade from the church. We all shared three mattresses while Sister Lily and Father got their own rooms. "Thank you," I said.

I understood what she meant though, the whole room was dusty, but it had enough space for a queen size bed, a nightstand, plus a dresser with a mirror and a desk. It was amazing! It just needed a little tidying up. I went over to the window and opened them.

"Wind Creation Magic: Swift Sweep!" As I casted the spell, all the dust in the room went flying out of the window.

"There, now it should be good." I say, looking towards Vanessa. Walking over to her I ask,

"Is it okay if I hug you?"

"Oh-" she said, with a look of surprise on her face, after a few seconds she smiled, saying, "Of course."

I went to hug her and it felt very nice, I never had a hug from anyone else besides the people in the church and they felt warm, so did this hug. I always saw Sister Lily as a mother figure so I never really had an older sister figure in my life. I wanted to know what a hug would feel like coming from an elder sister and I knew she was going to be that to me.

"Thank you Vanessa, I really appreciate it." I say to her, pulling myself back.

"No- uh thank you Y/n, I think I really needed that." Vanessa said, holding her right hand to her heart.

"It felt warm," she said, smiling at me.

Vanessa's Mind: This girl is too adorable and gave me what I didn't even know I needed. I have to guide her right.

"Well, enjoy your night chibi" She said smiling while closing the door behind her.

(A.N.: This is an endearing way an older sister would call a younger sister, in a very playful way.)

I sighed, today was a very tiring but eventful day and I can't wait how my journey as a Magic Knight continues.

But oh, was y/n in for a surprising awakening.

"Y/n! Wait up! You know Licht and I aren't as fast as you!" a woman with brown hair said. She was holding hands with a blonde haired, yellow eyes and pointy ears male, both smiling as they finally walked up to me. They both appeared in what looked like wedding attire.

—what-what is this? I think I can't move around, it feels as though I am doing actions without my control. Like I'm watching a movie through my own eyes. Who is this man and woman? I've never seen them before. Is he an elf? He looks like one, but Sister Lily said they were gone from our world long ago. What is happening!----

I laughed, "I'm sorry guys you know I don't pay attention sometimes when I'm thinking too much." I say, scratching my head.

"Of course we know Y/n, but what has your mind so clouded? It's going to be a great day today!" Licht asked.

"Hehehe I think I know, but it is more of a who rather than a what." The girl, who I haven't caught the name of said, giggling.

"Tetia! That's- that's not what is happening!" I say hitting her shoulder slightly, my cheeks feel as though they are heating up.
