✨ Liliana ✨
Luciano walked back from the cockpit and instead of sitting where he was, he sat beside me. I turned my phone off and looked over at him.
"They okay with turning around?" I asked, he nodded and leaned back in his seat, "is there a particular reason we are turning around?"
"Arturo decided it was time for him to leave the house, however he took my mother with him. When Enzo tried to stop him, he threatened to kill her," he said, closing his eyes, "I need to get there so that I can kill him first,"
"You are very protective of your mother, I love that about you," I said, studying his face. He laughed and opened his eyes.
"I just told you that I was going to kill my father and the only thing you took from that is that I'm protective of my mother?" He asked amused, I nodded causing him to shake his head, "so you like that protective side huh?"
"Yeah," I said, I looked down and bit the inside of my lip for a second before looking back at him, "it was hot," that part was a whisper. His eyes darkened as he looked at me. My heart started beating a little faster and I was prepared for whatever he had to say next.
"I'm going to have Salvatore meet us at the house in Italy," he mumbled, bringing our eye contact. Okay, maybe I wasn't prepared for that. I wish he had said something or did something other than that. I nodded and leaned my head on his shoulder. He grabbed my hand placing it in his. He rubbed circles on my palm which was more calming than it was tinkling.
"That feels nice," I said, opening my eyes looking out the window. I could see the ocean below us in between clouds. Normally I would be scared of heights and not want to look out the window but this was beautiful.
The rest of the trip was full of us laughing and talking about random things. We ate snacks and had a few drinks of Brandy de Jerez. We, of course, didn't drink enough to get us drunk considering his plans later.
"Can we get some water please?" I asked one of the workers. She nodded and smiled before she walked back to the worker station.
"Why would you want to drink water when we have this bottle of delicious liquor?" Luca asked, smiling at me.
"Because we need to be sober when we get to your house," I said, thanking the woman as she brought the waters over. I handed one to Luca and started drinking the other. About twenty minutes later and a small nap later, the pilot had walked out saying that we had finally landed. I grabbed my bags as Luciano grabbed his. Being the cautious man he is, he walked out first and took a look around before giving me the okay to come on out.
I walked out and caught up to him in no time. We looked around for the car when one started pulling up from a distance. There was no way that was Franco driving. One because he doesn't drive that fast and two he is standing beside us. Luca pushed me behind him just in case it didn't stop. Once it came to a complete stop, the window rolled down.
"Need a ride?" Salvatore asked, pulling his sunglasses down on his nose as he looked at us. I peaked over Luca's shoulder to see Salvatore and Enzo in the car. I laughed quietly before moving out from behind Luciano. Enzo got out of the car and opened up the truck, taking my things from me so I could get in. I sat behind Salvatore while Luciano was beside me and Franco was behind Enzo.
"So best friend, did you miss me?" Enzo asked as he started the drive to the house.
"Enzo, baby, of course I missed you and your deranged face," Salvatore said, smiling at him. I laughed and Enzo rolled his eyes.
"Dumbass, I was talking about Lili," he said, causing Salvatore to act offended.
"Well I fucking missed you but I'm taking that back," Salvatore said, turning towards the window.
"Yeah I guess I missed you," I said, sighing which earned a gasp from Enzo.
"That is so damn rude," he said before looking at Luciano, "did you miss your younger yet more handsome brother?"
"You don't give me time to miss you, your ass calls me twenty-four/seven. And even if you didn't call me...yeah I probably still wouldn't miss you," Luca said with a smirk plastered on his face.
"I think all of you drank some hater-aide," Enzo mumbled, turning his focus back onto the road in front of us, "you both are so rude, you belong together. A couple made of mean-asses,"
"Are they at the house or are they still at the hotel?" Luca asked, getting straight into business.
"They came back about an hour after I called you," Enzo said, Luca nodded. The rest of the drive home or to their house was filled with Enzo bitching about how Luciano and I are "mean" to him. The closer we got to the house, the tenser Luca became and the quieter everyone got, well all besides Enzo who was still complaining.
"Lili, you either stay in this car or you stay with Franco or Enzo," Luca said as soon as their house came into view. I nodded, deciding against saying anything at the moment. Enzo parked the car by the others, Luca was the first one out. He stormed towards the house. I hurried out behind, semi-ignoring what he had just said to me. Enzo and Sal rushing behind me. Before we could even make it to the stairs, Luca was out the door again but this time he was dragging his father out by his shirt.
