Again in the beautiful vision sat the supreme lord of the universe on his throne with mighty shesha and his divine and beloved consort , the Sri herself Devi Lakshmi.
"Narayan, do you believe that Maya will be able to endure the immense pain, sacrifices, and overwhelming despair that this life as Subhadra? You know Maya—she is always a beacon of positivity, light, and cheer, spreading happiness wherever she goes. But this time, in this new life, how will she cope with all the suffering and trials that await her?", The mighty serpent, filled with deep concern, shared his worry for his sister, the prosperous and powerful goddess of illusion, wondering how she would handle such a heavy burden.
"Yes, Swami, why must Maya face such intense suffering and hardship in this life? Why can't she live a simple, peaceful life while still fulfilling her duty and establishing Dharma, just as others do? Why must she bear this burden of pain and sacrifice? It feels like too much for her to endure, Swami, too much for anyone, especially someone like her," Devi Lakshmi said, her voice filled with deep worry and compassion for her sister-in-law.
She couldn't help but question why such trials were placed upon Maya, the goddess of illusion, when her very nature was to spread joy and positivity to the world.
"Shesh, don't you think you are doubting my Maya? My Maya is a strong and resilient woman, the very goddess of illusion, who fears nothing. Moreover, in this life, her struggles will ultimately lead to the welfare of all. Remember, this Lord Vishnu is nothing without his Maya. I am certain that Maya will not let me down. She will endure every pain with strength, for I will be with her as her brother, and she will never face these trials alone—there is someone else by her side too."
The Lord of the Universe spoke, his words filled with reassurance and unwavering faith in his sister, the goddess of illusion.
"And Priye, she must endure this suffering," Lord Vishnu continued, his voice calm yet firm. "For if she doesn't face any trials, there will be no aggression in the mighty Pandavas, no fire to ignite their spirits for the coming war. Even you, my beloved, had to endure similar trials when you incarnated as Sita. Remember, there is no gain without pain. I understand your concern for her, but I have faith that my Maya is the strongest of all. What could possibly break the goddess of illusion herself?"
His words, full of love and conviction, eased Devi Lakshmi's tension, reassuring her that Maya's strength was beyond measure, and that all would unfold as it must for the greater good.
"Oh Prabhu, what can I say to your Leelas! Om namo bhagavate vasudevay!"' The mighty serpent chanted smiling.
........................
With a serene and mysterious smile, Lord Vishnu summoned his Maya, the goddess of illusion.
"Maya!" he called, his voice echoing with both command and affection.
At once, the divine and supreme goddess of illusion, Mahamaya, appeared. Her radiant beauty was beyond words, her face bearing a mysterious smile that mirrored her Lord Vishnu's—calm yet filled with untold secrets. She stood before them, embodying the essence of illusion and reality, her presence a perfect balance of grace and power.
