"Muskanein jhooti hai! Pehchane jhooti hain! Rangeenee hai chayi! Phir bhi hai tanhayii!"
The Next Morning:
Everyone gathered at the dining table for breakfast, but Subhadra was missing. Nakul, noticing her absence, asked, "Mamishree, where is Subhi?" He emphasized the word "Subhi," looking at Arjun.
"Oh, Nakul, this girl needs someone to wake her up. It's impossible for her to wake up on her own!" Devaki said with a smile, causing everyone to chuckle. However, Krishna remained calm, though there was a slight hint of worry in his expression.
"Madhav, what happened?" Arjun asked, sensing something was off.
"Nothing, Parth. Just thinking about something," Krishna replied with a mysterious smile, though his concern was evident.
Rohini offered to go and wake Subhadra, but Rukmini stood up and volunteered to go instead. She climbed the stairs to Subhadra's chamber, but upon arriving, she found no trace of her. Panicking, Rukmini rushed downstairs to inform everyone of Subhadra's absence.
Everyone was immediately worried. "Where could she have gone?" Rohini murmured, her voice filled with emotion.
Suddenly, they heard a familiar voice. "What's going on here?" Subhadra appeared at the entrance, her usual playful smirk on her face.
She looked different today. Her usual cheerful, vibrant self seemed distant, as her attire was darker and more unsettling than usual. Her black clothes contrasted sharply with her fair skin, and there was an eerie aura about her.

"Where were you, Chitra?" Rohini asked, her worry evident as she approached Subhadra.
"I was here all along. Why would I go anywhere else?" Subhadra answered with a mysterious smile that sent chills down everyone's spine.
"Okay, now come have your breakfast," Devaki said, trying to keep things light. Subhadra nodded cryptically and took her seat, eating with her left hand—a habit she had never shown before.
Everyone was staring at her, perplexed. This wasn't like Subhadra. Even Rukmini noticed the strange change in her behavior. "Krishnaa, I'll be leaving tomorrow. I've stayed for so long, and I must leave before Bhrata Shree Rukmi returns from his war," she said, expecting Subhadra to react. But Subhadra simply continued eating, unfazed.
"Did you hear what I said, Krishnaa?" Rukmini asked again, but Subhadra's response shocked everyone.
"Yes, I heard. So what? You can leave, Jiji. Anyway, you're not going to stay even if I insist," Subhadra replied with a cold, dismissive tone.
Rukmini was hurt, and the room fell into an uncomfortable silence. Everyone except the Pandavas and Krishna overlooked it, thinking Subhadra was just pranking Rukmini or being sarcastic. But the Pandavas sensed something was wrong.
