I rolled my eyes at that message and chuckled. 

My phone rang, and the caller was him. I almost disturbed my roommates' sleep. I swiped it to the right to accept the call.

"Park Sunghoon. Did you forget that I'm in a dorm?" I murmured

"Oh. I apologize"

"You better be" 

He chuckled at my tone

"Are you busy tomorrow?" he asked

"Hmm... I have classes until the afternoon."

"Let's go somewhere after class."

"Are you asking me on a date?"

"You could say that."

"Wow, you really have no shame." I teased him, making him chuckle again. "Well, see you tomorrow then."

"Alright, goodnight."

I ended the call and tried to calm down.

... 

"Holy shit?? I'm going on a date with Park Sunghoon!?" I squealed quietly, not wanting to disturb the people with me.

"HE WHAT??" 

Yeonsu freaked out through the phone. "So like... Are you guys together?"

"He didn't ask me to be his girlfriend, so yeah, we aren't." 

I replied. I was walking towards Sunghoon's car as he told me to wait for him there.

"Oh! He's courting you?"

"Hm... You could say that..."

"How did he even confess to you?"

"Uhm..." 

I stopped for a moment and recalled everything last night. 

"He holds my hand, admits that he likes me, and hu- WOah!"

"Harin? Hello?"

"I'll call you back! Bye!"

I ended the call when I saw Sunghoon, who was already beside me the whole time.

"You should've continued." He grinned at me. 

I scoffed and hid my face out of embarrassment. "No need to be shy towards me."

He raised his hand and thought he would pat my head like usual. But this time, he caress it. I felt butterflies in my stomach. It was new to me.

"Let's go?" 

I nodded. He opened the door to the passenger seat and waited for me to get in.

I didn't know where we were going as we drove away. Sunghoon is the one who planned this. 

"Where are we going?" I asked the person beside me, driving.

"You'll see." He smiled at me softly, planning to surprise me. 

It was a long drive. The places we're passing are unfamiliar to me. 

Suddenly, someone was calling on Sunghoon's phone. I couldn't help but look at it. He then declined the call quickly and acted like nothing happened. I can read on his face that he got annoyed.

"Who's that?"

"It's nothing—just a spam call," Sunghoon said, and I nodded.

Then, the same number called him again, making him furious as he aggressively declined it again. My curiosity became bigger.

It made me wonder why he declined the call without hesitation. He didn't even give the caller a chance to say something.

Sunghoon glanced at me, and his expression softened. He held my hand and rubbed it with his thumb. I shrugged my curiosity off, trying to focus on Sunghoon, who started a conversation with me.

"Do you prefer sunrise or sunset?" He asked just when his mood lightened.

"Sunset! It's more pretty to watch it until it becomes night."

"Perfect" 

I heard him murmur but didn't understand it fully. I checked where we were now, and seeing the ocean from a distance made me glance at Sunghoon.

He understood that I got the hint and drove faster.

As we reached the beach, I was welcomed by the sound of waves and the cold breeze. It was winter, so I could see the snow blend in with the sand. 

The first thing I did was to play chase with the water. It's been a while since I've been on the beach. It was breathtaking.

Sunghoon couldn't help but admire the girl playing as she ran around and played like a little kid. When she saw her smile brightly, his heart skipped a beat. It made his day complete. 

He moved beside Harin and splashed water onto her face. Harin was disbelieved, so she fought back by doing the same thing.

The two played together on the water and chased each other like children, with smiles, happiness, excitement, and touches of laughter all over their faces.

It was another moment to treasure.

The two sat down on the ground using Sunghoon's jacket like a mat. They were all soak after they played with the water. Harin shared her long coat with him, not letting him get cold. 

They were very close as their shoulders touch at each other. Both of them watched the sunset together, peacefully. Sunghoon kept glancing at Harin who her focus is at the sun setting. 

This is one of his favorite view of her, smiling while admiring at something.
