"Theo... How do we make it stop?" Mason's expression showed just how anxious and scared he was, but his words were encouraging him to get closer to Corey. Another sign that Mason was starting to trust the chimera, despite everything he had done, he was earning their trust back.

"I- I think it's the pain. It's too overwhelming, it's making him lose control of his abilities." Theo was no professional sure, but he was the first chimera. He had been with the dread doctors the longest and he knew the most, so of course they were asking for his opinion.

Liam watched hesitantly, making sure to keep a distance despite wanting to follow. He could see the packs eyes on him— mostly on Theo. "He can't hear us," Liam said, catching Theo's attention. "I tried talking to him and- uh, so did Mason but it's like he's not even here..."

Theo frowned, his lips pursing as he walked closer. "Corey?" The closer he got the more it felt like everyone else was beginning to fade out, his vision growing fuzzy and his ears ringing. Just a little bit closer and—

"Theo stop," Liam grabbed the chimera's arm, feeling a zapping sensation as he did. He pulled back only to see Theo's pale face, "are you okay?"

The chimera's hand instinctively flew to his temple, pressing it on either side as he fell to his knees. A grunt of pain escaping his lips, the constant ringing in his ears was almost overwhelming. He couldn't hear words, but he could feel Liam's presence. He could smell him, the betas scent was trying to ground him.

"Theo?" he didn't get a response, instead he saw Theo's eyes roll back. "Scott, what's happening to him?" he knew Scott wouldn't know, but that didn't stop him from asking. The urgency clear in his voice as his worried blue eyes met Scott's confused brown ones.

The alpha shook his head, uncertainty filling his mind. He didn't care what happened to Theo... he really tried not to. But that wasn't in his nature, he wasn't like that. "Liam, get back."

Liam didn't move, not sure what Scott was planning and he wasn't about to allow Theo to be put in a bad position while in this vulnerable state. He trusted Scott, he did. But he knew how he felt about Theo, and after everything he had done, it was only fair for Scott to feel that way.

Turning back he could see Theo applying pressure to his head, the pain becoming seemingly worse. They weren't sure what was happening to him and they sure as hell weren't expecting the next words that came out of his mouth. "Tara..."

Liam frowned, looking at Mason who had a confused and concerned expression. He didn't know much about Theo's sister, but he knew she was dead. According to Stiles, Theo had pushed her and had been the reason for her death. But Liam knew better than to believe everything Stiles said, especially after being on the receiving end of Stiles's criticism and assumptions.

"Theo?" He stepped closer only for Scott to grab his wrist, "what? Something could be happening to him, we have to help him and-"

"We have a lot of issues right now Liam, we can't just stand here and focus on one of them." Scott said in a firm voice, insinuating that Theo was nothing more then an issue. After having just got rid of the ghost riders and seeing Corey fade in and out they didn't have time to worry about Theo too.

"No," Liam hissed, snatching his wrist back. "He's my responsibility Scott, he's been here for me since I brought him back. Now he needs me and I won't turn my back on him."
