Liam knew he cared about Theo, it was obvious. But now everyone else knew as well, which wasn't ideal. Thankfully Mason didn't judge him, even with his own feelings about the chimera he would come around eventually.

"Theo?" Corey's voice cut through their argument, raspy and painful. He was looking straight at Theo, like he was the only person there in front of him. "Theo, can you hear me?"

Theo let out a painful grunt, his eyes moving fast as he tried to locate Corey's voice. "Corey?" Theo's anxious voice made Scott focus on him while trying once again to separate him from his beta.

"Liam, take a step back-" The alpha was interrupted by a solid body getting between himself and Liam. In front of him was a glowing eyed Parrish with a frown and a hand on his chest blocking his way towards Liam. Before he could say anything Corey spoke again.

"Theo, focus on me." The anxious tone of his voice made everyone frown and look at both chimeras. Only then, without Scott arguing with his beta, they heard it.

Low and scared, but Theo's mumbling was still very clear. "This isn't real. This isn't real," These three words were the only thing Theo was able to say, again and again like a mantra.

"Theo!" This time Corey's voice sounded loud and clear making Theo look directly at him. "I'm real. Please, I'm real, focus on me," With the little strength he had, the chameleon got up and tumbled in front of the other chimera while Parrish, Mason and Liam tried to keep the pack away from them.

The moment he touched Theo both of them they disappeared from the others sight coming back a few seconds later with a half shifted chimera.

Coming back to himself the urge to roar was unbearable, so he let it out. The golden eyed coywolf chimera let out a powerful roar that shook the walls and had the pack covering their ears. It was almost as powerful as a banshee's scream, the same level of agony rang through their ears.

"Theo?" Corey's voice still full of pain but a lot more confident made Theo change his eyes back to normal. "Are you with me?" The concern in his voice was clear, making Theo frown and focus on his former packmate.

"I-I'm okay" The chimera was confused to say the least but he quickly moved when he saw Corey's knees giving out. Theo helped the other chimera sit on the table again while the pack watched him warely. "He needs someone to take his pain so he can stop disappearing...I- I don't know how to do it," The last part of this being only a whisper, making Liam instantly move to him.

"What the fuck just happened?" Stiles screamed, moving his arms everywhere like that somehow would give his words more emphasis.

Liam ignored him and continued walking forward, noticing the side eye from Scott as he did so. "Liam wait—"

"No Scott," Liam huffed, "I've waited long enough, I know you don't want to help but Corey and Theo are a part of my pack and I want to help them." He had never said that out loud, his pack. He knew he was in Scott's pack but he also had his own, and when they leave for college he would be taking over, he needed his own pack.

Scott opened and closed his mouth, swallowing his pride and other feelings. As much as he disliked Theo, even he could see how much the chimera had helped since coming back. He was no longer a threat or an enemy but now an ally. Maybe Liam considered him a friend, but Scott couldn't do that. "I was just going to say, be careful."
