Tomorrow would be the grand Rajyabhisek of Nana (Ugrasena) and the celebrations that followed. But I was nervous. Different kings, princes, and princesses from various kingdoms would be there. Would I be able to present myself as a princess, with all the grace and etiquette required? Could I be as poised as I had always imagined? Only God knew.
"Hey Narayan! Help me," I whispered to myself in prayer, hoping for some strength.
Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice.
"Ruchi, you remembered me?" Krishna asked, appearing out of nowhere. His mysterious smile played on his face, as if he had sensed my worry. How can I forget who he is!
I couldn't help but smile, but I still shook my head in disbelief. "No," I whispered, my heart lightening at the sight of him.
Krishna just nodded and said, "Okay then, good night," before gently caressing my head. His touch was warm and reassuring, bringing a sense of calm to my restless heart.
As he left, I felt comforted. No matter how nervous I was for the days ahead, I knew that my family, my brothers, and even Vrinda would always be there for me. But Maiya and baba?

Subhadra's POV:
The next day, I woke up to find both of my mothers sitting beside me.
"Go, you have to get ready today. We will help you," said Mata Devaki, her voice filled with love and care.
Suddenly, a memory struck my mind.
"Krishna, there is veneration today. Go, get ready!" Yashoda Maiya had said.
"No, Maiya, I'm tired now!" I had replied with an annoyed face.
"Oh, ladli, come, I'll get my beautiful princess ready today!" She had said, and with that, she had taken me in her arms and started getting me ready. I wore very minimal pearls, yet I looked beautiful. I thought it was her magic, her touch that made me feel so radiant.
Though mother Devaki and Mother Rohini were there but still her absence was tearing me from apart. I miss her! I really miss her... Tears welled up in my eyes.
"What are you thinking about, ladli?" Mata Rohini's words brought me back to the present. I smiled softly, trying to hold back my emotions.
I was taken for a ritual bath, and all the dasis helped me. At first, I felt awkward, but soon I relaxed.
After the ritual bath, I wore a creamish-white vastra, and my mothers began adorning me with jewels. I looked into the mirror and found myself completely transformed. Though it was uncomfortable, the jewels sparkled, and I looked beautiful.
"See, the most beautiful girl of Aryavarth!" Mata Devaki said, looking at me in the mirror, praising me with a warmth I could feel deep in my heart.
End of Subhadra's POV.
Subhadra waited in her room, removing a few of the jewels, as they were too uncomfortable. She stepped outside, where everyone was busy talking and laughing. The air was filled with excitement.
Then, the drums rolled, and in came the princess. She wore a stunning white lehenga, her golden complexion matching the jewels she wore, which added an ethereal glow to her. Her beauty was magnified by her smile, her lotus-shaped eyes gleaming with grace. Her skin shimmered in the light, making her appearance seem divine. The beauty which was unknown to earth. She was looking breathtaking. She was appearing as if a goddess.

All the princes and kings were looking at her, and it made her feel a little uncomfortable. While the princesses gossiped among themselves, some were jealous, while others were simply awestruck by Subhadra's beauty. Truly she had no equal on the earth....
Then, Krishna and Balram entered together. Krishna wore an attractive yellow angavastra, adorned with jewels, and a peacock feather in his hair. His dark skin glowed under the light, and his coppery eyes glinted with mischievousness. His smile was enigmatic and confident.

Balram, on the other hand, was the opposite—fair-skinned, wearing a blue angavastra, with jewels adorning him and a serene smile on his face. He was calm as always.

The ladies in the room couldn't help but gaze at them, their admiration evident. Krishna and Balram walked over and sat beside Subhadra, the trio looking divine as ever.
While Subhadra talked with them, Vasudeva called her over to introduce her to his friend.
There was someone behind him. A girl.
She was breathtaking. Her smile was the most beautiful vision. Her doe-shaped eyes were captivating. Her slender figure, draped in jewels, added to her unearthly beauty. She looked like a goddess, and everything about her radiated grace and charm.
Subhadra's gaze followed the girl, captivated by her presence. She had never seen anyone like her before.
