Cannon fodder doesn't follow the script

Lin su asked the system "Ohh..you know it's difficult but you are asking us defeat it.Is that even possible.."

{I am just asking you to try defeating it.If you find it difficult, than you can leave host.Its just your loss.}

Lin su thought for a while.Though the crystal nucleus is not useful for him he can use it to gain loyalty of the Yu siblings."Let's fight it" Lin su said.Others were dumbfounded hearing this.

"Are you serious...look at the people who died...Do you think we can defeat it..just the four of us.."Yu yuan started babbling.

"Let's go" Jingchen said without any hesitation."I will join too.." Yu qi said.Yu yuan was stunned by his sister."Aqi are you serious.." Yu yuan grabbed her shoulders and asked her.

"Yes brother.I want to prove to those men who thinks women is weak and can only be used as a sex tool.I want to become stronger and defeat those men and prove that women can be stronger too...And.. brother i want to protect you too."

Yu yuan felt ashamed.He tried his best to protect his sister from other men from childhood.This apocalypse also made it even more worse. They already changed three teams because those men wanted to harass his sister.

He felt disgusted by those men who only think with their lower body and do not use their brain. He never once asked his sister how she felt.But now he felt proud of his sister who wants become stronger to protect him.

Yu yuan eyes turned red and hugged Yu qi."I am sorry...I...I...will join too." Lin su nodded his head abd took out a sword,gave it to Jingchen.It was a sword from his space which he used when he practiced martial arts.He knew that psychic powers are difficult to use so he gave a weapon to jingchen.

"Yu qi use your wind power as a blade when the branched attack you.And Yu yuan create a wall around yourself against the branches."Lin su turned around to see Jingchen staring at the sword.

"Jingchen this sword is my favorite.You can use it to cut the branches.I know you will get exhausted by using your psychic power so use this.."

jingchen came near Lin su and rubbed his head."Be safe.." Jingchen said.Lin su sighed and answered okay.

The four of them went near the banyan tree.Once the tree sensed living people it started to attack with it's branches.Jingchen used the blade to cut off it.Yu qi used wind blade to cut it.

Lin su used his water power which did not cause much damage to the tree.So he used ice power and froze those branches.Yu yuan was dodging the branches and was busy protecting his sister.

Suddenly a branch came from behind Lin su which he failed to notice."Lin su..." Jingchen shouted and without knowing he used his devouring power on that branch. The branch was melted into liquid.

Jingchen who was so angry at the tree started using his devouring power.The branches were melted away when it came near him.Yu siblings stared at Jingchen using his power dumbfounded.This is the first time they saw a power like this.

Jing chen went near the trunk and used his last energy power and melted the trunk.

{Host..quick save the crystal before it gets melted.}

Ohh.. Lin su used his water power to get the crystal nucleus out of it before it got melted.jingchen who used too much power saw that Lin su was safe and fainted.

Lin su put the nucleus into his space and went near Jingchen.He did not panic like before because he knew Jingchen was exhausted using his power.This is the first time he witnessed Jingchen's power and he was fascinated by it.

Yu siblings also came near them."Is he alright.." Yu qi asked."He is fine..just exhausted from overusing his power." Yu yuan and Lin su both carried Jingchen and placed him in the back seat.Lin su also got in the backseat.

Yu yuan decided to drive and Yu qi got into the passenger seat.Yu qi was staring at the mirror looking at the two of them.Lin su also noticed her gaze.

"Do you wanna ask something.." Lin su asked her.Yu qi blushed and got some courage and asked "Are you two a couple.." Lin su chuckled.

"Not now but maybe in the future.."Lin su knew that this jingchen is his Ji chen.Jing chen would give his life to protect him which nobody can do just for a stranger whom they knew for two days.

Lin su smiled and put jing chen's head on his shoulder,closed his eyes and gathered some spiritual power and sent it into Jingchen to replenish his energy.

They did not face any more trouble on the way and stopped at a hot spring hotel.They decided to stay here until Jingchen recovers.Lin su and Yu yuan carried Jingchen and placed him on the bed in a hotel room.Lin su also stayed with him.

Yu yuan and Yu qi decided to stay in another room.Before they left Lin su gave them three packets of ramen two cokes and hot water.

"Yu yuan and Yu qi can you guys promise me something."Lin su asked them."What promise should we make.." Yu qi asked him.

"Don't reveal about Jingchen's power to others.He is a duel power user." Yu siblings nodded their heads and left.Lin su entered the room and saw Jingchen.

"System how long will it take for him to wake up.."

{I don't know host but you have to be patient.}

Lin su just closed his eyes and gathered the spiritual power around him and sent it to jingchen. An hour later Lin su also felt hungry and ate some snacks.

Jingchen woke up groaning.His head felt like it was bursting.Lin su who saw him awake went near him."Are you okay.. " Jingchen looked up to see Lin su and without thinking twice he pulled him into his embrace.

Lin su also felt his distress and patted him on the back."It's alright everything is fine.." Lin su repeated it again and again. Jingchen calmed down after a while.

"Are you stupid..What if something happened to you..." Lin su asked him after he calmed down. "I..I..don't know why...but when i saw you are in danger i can't just stand there..i wanted to protect you..even if it takes my life..i want you.." without letting him continue to speak Lin su kissed him.

Jingchen was surprised for a while and kissed him back.He was so happy that Lin su took the initiative to kiss him.He really didn't know the reason why but he wants Lin su to  be safe always.He did not care about giving up on his life if it is to protect Lin su.

Lin su felt the same familiar feeling that he had when he first kissed Ji chen,when he kissed Jingchen.Now he knew from his soul that this is his Ji chen.

They kissed for a while and separated.Lin su held Ji chen's face in both of his hands and looked into his eyes.

"Jingchen i don't care what you think but listen to me carefully. Never do what you did today again.Do you even know how frightened i was when i saw you fainting.Do you think i can live without you if you die.If you are gonna die i am also following you.Is that clear...

So never think about that bullshit again.We are gonna face this world together and gonna live a long life." Lin su held Jingchen's hand and intertwined their fingers.

"I am going to hold your hands and never letting it go okay.."Jingchen heart skipped a beat hearing this.

"Do you like me.." Jingchen asked and became nervous."No idiot I don't like you.."Jingchen face became dejected hearing this.Lin su chuckled and answered again "I don't like you because I love you..I fell in love at first sight with you..."

Lin su smiled and pinched Jingchen's cheeks "You are this handsome how can i not fall for you.." Jingchen ears turned red.He moved closer to Lin su until his nose touched his."I love you too baby..so much..." Jingchen kissed him.

The familiar addressing brought tears into Lin su's eyes.Its been a long time since he heard Ji chen calling him baby.Now hearing it again he was delighted and cried.
He hugged Jingchen tightly and kissed him back with full force.
