Cannon fodder doesn't follow the script

Xavier looked at the fruits and asked Lin su "What is this?.." Lin su was stunned.He forgot that this was interstellar and people have forgotten about this ancient fruits.

"Wait let me check.." William searched through his communicator and found the results."Sir these are from ancient earth..these are fruits..the red one is called apple,the yellow one is called banana..i don't know about the green one sir.."

Lin su chuckled "That's watermelon.." He took a apple and started munching on it.He took out a book and sat on the sofa to read ignoring others.

Liam came forward and tried eating the apple.He took a bite and his eyes widened "It's so sweet.." Xavier also tried it.

William looked at the watermelon curiously."Break it first and eat the red colored fruit pulp inside.." William broke the fruit with his bare hands.

Everyone looked at it."How should we eat this?.." Liam frowned.Lin su took out a knife from his space when others did not notice him.

He came forward and cut the fruit into several small pieces and told them how to eat it.He told them to collect the seeds.

Nicolas still did not come forward to eat.Lin su did not want to speak to him.He only focused on others. Xavier and others had stains on their faces while eating the watermelon.

Lin su took out the tissue from his pocket and gave it to Liam and William.Lin su chuckled at Xavier's clumsy way of eating.He held the tissue and gently cleaned the stains on Xavier's face.

Xavier also allowed him to do so making others look at him in surprise.They had never seen their general let others touch him or have any physical contact with others.

Lin su put the seeds in his space. Lin su also taught them how to peel the banana skin.After eating Lin su took out a mattress from his tent and laid it down for them to sit.Xavier sat beside Lin su.

William's communicator suddenly binged.He went through the information which was sent.His eyes became blank after he read it."General this planet is G-108 the last planet in our empire territory.

This planet is not suitable for living as the planet is completely barren without any living organisms present.."

William frowned and looked around."General these plants.." Lin su chuckled."Ohh..It's my doing..I was bored alone in this planet so I planted these to pass time.."

"You..how could you do this.?.." Nicolas chimed in again.He was standing in same place from the beginning.

"Nicolas..that's enough..Why are you behaving like this?..He is helping us..If you find it hard to accept his help then leave and stay in the spaceship until the help arrives.." Xavier glared at him.

"No general..I am just curious to know that's it.." Nicolas answered softly making Lin su frown. "System look at his information..I want to know everything about him.."

{Okay host..just give me few minutes..i will gather it..}

Lin su looked at Nicolas "Sorry I cannot satisfy your curiosity..Also you have no right to know about it.." Xavier looked at Lin su helplessly.

Nicolas couldn't take it anymore and ran away.Liam and William both stood up to follow him.
