Cannon fodder doesn't follow the script

The next morning Lin su woke up early and came to the living room.He took out snacks from his space and munched on it.He was eager to meet the protagonists today that his eyes sparkled. Jingchen who woke up later than Lin su found him in the living room.

He went near him and sat down beside him.Lin su shared the snacks with Jingchen.But he refused.Jingchen saw the excitement in Lin su's eyes,he felt troubled.He was not sure about what made Lin su this excited.

But he did not like it.He felt ridiculous because of his jealousy over the unknown but he wanted Lin su's eyes to only look at him.He wants his eyes to show excitement only when he sees him.

Jingchen sat there staring blankly ahead over thinking.Lin su can see through jingchen.He smirked and put away the cover in his hand.He went near Jingchen and held his hand.

"What are you thinking about?.." Lin su asked.

"It's nothing baby"he held his hand back tightly."What are you so excited about early in the morning?.." Lin su chuckled.

"Oh... are you eager to know about it..you will know later.." Jingchen just gave up asking again and nodded his head.

He may seem strict and cold but he would only obey Lin su in this life. Nobody can make him submit except for Lin su.

Yu yuan and Qin zhou also came out of the room followed by Yu qi. "Ahhh...I'm hungry.." Yu yuan mumbled.Yu yuan was happy today.Yesterday he spoke with Qin zhou until midnight about their personal life.Unknown to them they fell asleep cuddling each other.

Lin su also felt hungry and took out food from his space.They had breakfast and sat down to wait for someone to arrive.

The guard from yesterday came again.He called out Jingchen and yu yuan's name and asked them to follow him.Lin su also got up to follow them.Yu qi and Qin zhou who saw him leaving also followed behind.

When they all arrived at the entrance of the base they saw many people standing there. "F**k" Qin zhou cursed.Lin su looked up and found the protagonists at a glance.

He smirked and shouted out "Lin bai".Everyone around him became silent.Lin bai who heard her name being called and looked at that direction.

She was shocked to see Lin su standing there.She always thought that Lin su would have died already but now that he appeared in front of her she smirked.Her plans to make Lin su suffer can be accomplished now.Her eyes showed disdain for a second then disappeared.She smiled at him.

"Cousin..Is that you.." she asked. Lin su went near her under the gaze of others.Qin zhou who came to know that woman was Lin su's cousin was shocked.He hummed and looked around without looking at Lin su feeling guilty.

Lin su stood next to Lin bai.He acted out like the original owner who was introverted.

"Xiaobai..it's really you..what about my parents..are they here.." Lin su asked nervously fidgeting with his fingers his eyes showing longing for his parents.Lin bai eyes turned cold.

"I am sorry Lin su..they are dead..they saved me and got bitten by zombies...I am sorry i could not save them.." Lin bai's eyes turned red.Lu xian who noticed this hugged her and patted her back in order to console her.

Lin su was stuck in the same place without knowing how to react.He suddenly felt his heart ache.He knew it was the lingering feelings of the original owner.He took some time to react.His eyes turned red at first and tears started streaming down.

His legs became weak so knelt down on the floor.He started crying..crying on behalf of the original owner.Jingchen became distressed.He went near Lin su knelt down and hugged him.

Lin su cried his heart out loudly in his embrace.Those who heard him cry felt his sadness.It was heartbreaking to hear.Those people who also lost their families recalled about their memories.

Lin bai who wanted to gain sympathy from others by crying was utterly defeated by Lin su.She did not expect Lin su would cry out loud.She had never seen him cry like this.So she was confident that she would crush him.But all went against her.She clenched her fists becoming angry. She does not want to lose to Lin su.

She went near Lin su to talk.But jingchen who was wearing mask did not let her near Lin su.Lin su who cried his heart out fainted in Jingchen's arms.Jingchen felt the weight on his hands increasing.

"Baby..Xiaosu.." Jingchen called out softly panicked.But Lin su did not respond him. He reacted quickly and carried Lin su to their apartment.Lin bai stood there like a fool watching the man carrying Lin su away.

Lu xian who saw the man carrying Lin su felt he looked familiar but didn't take it seriously.He went near Lin bai and held her shoulder."Don't worry..he will be fine.." Lin bai nodded her head.

Her plan was completely ruined today by Lin su.The protagonists and other people in the team went out on the mission after this incident.Lin bai was busy manipulating against Lin su for future encounters.

Yu siblings and Qin zhou followed Jingchen back to their residence. Jingchen placed Lin su on the sofa and knelt down beside him holding his hand.He was afraid and nervous that something would happen to Lin su.

Qin zhou saw Lin su's pale face.He went near him and checked his pulse.Jingchen glared at him.

"Ohh.. Mr.Lu I studied Chinese medicine in my college..he was just exhausted from crying..he will wake up soon..don't worry.." jingchen could not calm down his nerves even after knowing that Lin su will wake up.

Yu qi saw how much Jingchen cared for Lin su and felt envious. She always wanted someone who cares about her like the Jingchen cared for Lin su.But those men whom she met are complete assholes who just wanted pleasure.

Though she did not plan on love right now seeing them like this wakes up her desire to find a patner.

Two hours later.....

Lin su who became conscious woke up and felt his head ache.

{Host are you alright..}

"Mm.. I am fine..Where are the protagonists now.."

{They went out on the mission host. Lin bai is angry at you for destroying her plan.}

Lin su smirked his eyes turning dark.He noticed Lin bai's behavior to get sympathy from others.So he acted out first and cried.At first it was him crying but half way through the ache that the original owner experienced was vented out.No he did not feel stuffy anymore.

Jingchen felt his movements and went near him."Baby..are you awake.." Lin su looked up to see jingchen.Though his face was calm Lin su can feel his emotions.He stretched out his hands asking for a hug.

Jingchen hugged him and placed him in his lap sideways.Lin su put his head on his shoulder hugging Jingchen."I am sorry..for making you worried.." jingchen tightened his hold.

They sat there for a while until others came out."Lin su..you are awake.." Qin zhou went near him and checked his pulse again. Everything was fine.

"You scared us Xiaosu..don't do it next time.." Yu qi said.Lin su nooded his head and apologized to them for making them worry.

"Is she really your cousin?.." Qin zhou asked."Yes..She is uncle's daughter.My father and her father were brothers..But i am not that close to her.." Lin su answered.

"You are not angry right.." Qin zhou asked.Lin su was confused "About what.."

"About.. me scolding your cousin.." Lin su chuckled."It's alright you can scold her as much as you want..i am not stopping you."

Qin zhou breathed a sign of relief. He was afraid that he had offended Lin su.But now he was relieved.

Jingchen who was observing felt something was wrong.He felt something was off when Lin su spoke about that woman.His eyebrows creased.He did not want any secrets between them.

Lin su also noticed Jingchen's furrowed eyebrows.Lin su smoothed it out with his fingers.He went near Jingchen's ear and whispered "Achen i promise you,i will tell you everything after all of this is over but until then you have to wait.." Jingchen embraced Lin su promising him that he could wait.
