This ask is from Luzura-1_Prime on 抖阴社区!: question for them: shadow and sonic... who's top and bottom, do you two ever considered having a child (I mean there a IVR or there's a chance for sonic to get pregnant)

Sonic didn't know what to expect when Shadow got revenge on him. Would it be a prank? A week sleeping on the couch whenever he stayed over at the darker hedgehog's place? Or would it be something worse? Sonic didn't know, and it was scaring the chilli dogs out of him!

Gasp! What if Shadow takes away his chilli dog privileges for a year!? Sonic wouldn't be able to survive that! He. Needs. His. Chilli dogs!

Shadow: What are you thinking about?

Sonic screamed.

It appears that while Sonic was internally freaking out about what Shadow's revenge could possibly be, said black-furred hedgehog had mysteriously appeared at his side.

The blue-furred hedgehog whipped around to face him.

Sonic: Nothing, absolutely nothing! I was thinking of absolutely nothing!

Shadow didn't believe him for one second.

Shadow: Yeah...sure you weren't.

Sonic slumped.

Sonic: Alright, fine! I was thinking about what your revenge could possibly be.

Sonic: Is it going to be a prank? Sleeping on the couch for a week when I stay over at your place? Something worse?

He starts shaking a smirking Shadow by the shoulders.

Sonic: I. Need. To. Know!

Shadow's smirk turned to a scowl.

Shadow: Stop shaking me, Sonic, or my revenge will be worse than what I have planned.

The blue hedgehog immediately stopped shaking his boyfriend and backed away in fear.

Sonic: Message received! But, uh, just to be clear...what is your revenge going to be exactly?

The black hedgehog crossed his arms with a new smirk on his muzzle.

Shadow: Sorry, Sonic, but it wouldn't be revenge when you least expect it if I told you what to look out for now, would it?

Sonic let out a sigh but ended up shrugging.

Sonic: Well, can't say I didn't try.

Then he got bonked on the head by the floating screen from yesterday and crumbled to the ground.

Shadow grimaced and gently tapped his downed boyfriend with the tip of his shoe.

Shadow: You still alive there, Sonic?

Sonic groaned and raised his hands to hold his head in pain, making Shadow sigh in relief.

Shadow: Oh good, you're alive. Because it really wouldn't have been fun to get revenge on a dead hedgehog. I'd much rather do it while you're alive.

Sonic groaned again as he slowly sat up while continuing to grip his head.

Sonic: Gee, thanks. I'm so lucky to have such a caring, considerate boyfriend.

Shadow, who still had his arms crossed, shrugged with a small smile.

Shaking his head a little to clear it, Sonic slowly opened his green eyes and squinted up at the floating screen that hit him.

Sonic: It hasn't even been two days, and I already think I'm starting to hate this thing.

The black hedgehog snorted as he scanned over the question.

Shadow: You're only saying that because it bonked you on the head.

The blue hedgehog groaned and rested his head on his hand as it throbbed.

Sonic: Yep, that's exactly why.

Shadow gave him a look of concern that went unnoticed by the blue hedgehog, who was nursing his throbbing head.

A sigh left Shadow as he gently helped Sonic up and let the blue-furred hedgehog lean on him for support.

Shadow: Here. Lean on me and read the question slowly. While you do that, I'll give them my answer.

Sonic slowly nodded, his hand not leaving his head.

Sonic: Alright.

Casting another look of concern at the hedgehog leaning quite heavily on him, Shadow took a deep breath and gave his answer to the question while Sonic himself slowly started reading it.

Shadow: I'm the top in this relationship, which should be kind of obvious, don't you think?

Sonic seemingly has finally caught up to the type of question asked and spoke up.

Sonic: I'm a bottom, which I also think should've been kind of obvious, what with the way I act and all that.

He winced right after, as talking just seemed to make his new head injury hurt worse.

Shadow sent him an increasingly worried look as he continued to answer the rest of the question.

Shadow: Sonic and I haven't even been dating 5 months, so the possibility of children hasn't even been brought up before.

Said blue hedgehog hummed in agreement as he squeezed his eyes shut as the pain in his head seemed to get even worse.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Shadow scooped Sonic up into his arms bridle style with a frown mirroring his muzzle.

Sonic: Um...why are you carrying me?

The black hedgehog briefly glanced down at him as he started skating at a quick but safe pace.

Shadow then looked forward again, the frown never leaving his muzzle.

Shadow: I'm taking you to a doctor to get your head examined.

It was now Sonic's turn to frown as he grimaced at not only Shadow's wording but also the unbearable pain his head was in that only seemed to get worse with every passing second.

Sonic: Ok, I might be in unbelievable pain right now thanks to that stupid floating screen bonking me on the head, but the way you just worded that makes it sound like I'm not right in the head, Shads.

Shadow's frown deepened.

Shadow: Well, sorry that my wording upsets you, but there aren't any better words to use when you're currently suffering from a head injury that could possibly kill you if it doesn't get treated.

Both fell silent after that, and Sonic slumped in Shadow's arms as he continued to quickly skate to the nearest doctor.
