After washing the soiled doona cover and hanging it outside to dry, Shadow moved back inside, grabbed a new, clean black & red doona cover from the small linen closet, and skilfully put it on the naked doona before gently laying it back over Sonic.

Sonic stared down at the black & red doona cover, then back up at Shadow.

Sonic: You really are emo, huh?

THWAP!

Sonic: OW!

Shadow hit him over the head with a glare.

Shadow: Shut up.

Sonic returned the glare with his own.

Sonic: Hey! Hedgehog recovering from a hard bonk on the head here! What kind of bed nurse are you?!

THWAP!

Sonic: OW! Shadow, what the hell?!

The black hedgehog's glare became more fierce.

Shadow: I'm not your bed nurse. I'm your fucking boyfriend!

The blue hedgehog gasped dramatically, pointing at him.

Sonic: You swore!

A growl rumbled in the dark hedgehog's throat as he prepared to hit the other hedgehog over the head once more when suddenly the floating screen popped up next to them, saving Sonic from a third hit to his stupid head.

Shadow really did love Sonic more than anything, but the blue hedgehog really needed to know when to keep his thoughts to himself.

The black-furred hedgehog watched as Sonic turned his attention to the floating screen reading his question while rubbing his poor, stupid little head.

With a semi-heavy sigh, Shadow got to reading his own question.

Unsurprisingly, it was Sonic who answered his question first.

Sonic: The only sibling I have is Tails. I don't have any biological ones, and even if I did, no one can replace Tails.

Shadow could confirm that. Those two were so close they might as well have been biological siblings rather than adoptive ones.

Especially considering how protective Sonic was of the young two-tailed fox kit.

After thinking over his own question for a while, Shadow finally gives an answer.

Shadow: I'll be honest with you.

He sighed.

Shadow: I don't like any of her songs.

Sonic jolted up with a gasp.

Sonic: What!?!

THWAP!

Sonic drops his head with his paws cupping the back of it.

Sonic: OW! Damnit! Why?

Red eyes glared.

Shadow: Please be quiet.

The blue hedgehog whined slightly but otherwise kept his mouth shut with a noticeable pout.

Shaking his head, the black hedgehog continued.

Shadow: I don't like her songs because it's just not the type of music I like, that's all. No hate on her or the people that like her music. It just isn't what I'm into, and it's that simple.
