Control

As Daniel and Agatha walked to Agatha's house which was on the way to Daniels house they started to talk.
  „I'm kind of worried about Simon." Daniel stated
  „Yeah, he's been through so much shit and it's like he isn't reacting to it at all." Agatha responded in agreement
  „Exactly, like when his mom was murdered he hugged me and we never talked about it again. I feel like he's bottling it all up and one day it's just going to explode." Daniel remarked
   „Yeah." Agatha replied
   „Anyway, Wanna come in for a minute?" Agatha asked hoping he would say yes while they were approaching her house
  „Sure." Daniel responded happily
They both walked into the house and Daniel sat down next to the kitchen island while Agatha poured them a glass of water.
  „Where's your mom?" He asked
  „Probably still out. I think she's with her friends I just don't where." She replied
  „Okay." Daniel said while taking a sip of water
They talked for another five minutes until Daniel decided to go home.
  „I should go my dads gonna be waiting for me." He said while standing up
  „Sure." Agatha said following Daniel to the door and leaning against the wall as he was putting his shoes on. While he was getting up Agatha stepped closer to him. He was standing as he realised they where about two inches away from each other. He leaned in, closer to her. They could feel each other's breath on their cheeks. Agatha put her hand on his neck and kissed him on the lips while he did the same. They stood there like that for a couple of seconds. Daniel pulled away and looked her in the eyes.
  „Bye." She remarked
  „Bye." He answered feeling butterflies in his stomach, as he walked out the door closing it behind him surprised. He sighed happily as he walked away from her house.

When Daniel opened the door, Richard turned towards him as he was sat on the sofa.
  „Where the hell have you been?" He asked
  „We slept next to the lake." Daniel stated
  „And you didn't think to call me?" He responded
  „My phone died." Daniel replied calmly
  „I'm just happy your alive. Next time let me know." Richard replied
  „Okay." Daniel responded still blushing from his kiss with Agatha but happy that his dad let him of so easily
  „I'm too old for this." Richard stated, while walking into the kitchen and scratching his ear
Daniel was about to walk off. When Richard called him back.
  „Where do you think your going?" He asked
  „Tell me what you did yesterday." He added
  „Okay. We mostly just talked and walked around the forest exploring." Daniel said while sitting down in the kitchen next to his dad, while he was making dinner.
  „That's nice. I'm happy you spend time outside and not just cooped up in the house." Richard replied with a smile on his face

Emily and Simon were talking while walking home.
  „You know, I totally ship Agatha and Daniel." Emily stated
  „Yes, definitely. They would be such a great couple." Simon replied
  „Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they were going out secretly." Emily stated
  „Yeah." Simon said laughingly
  „Anyway, I should talk to you about something." Emily said worried
  „Go ahead." Simon said noticing that this was going to be serious
  „You've been through a lot of shit. And it's like you've been bottling it up and I'm worried about you, and Daniel and Agatha are to I think, and you shouldn't be going through this alone." Emily said as fast as possible as if she just wanted to get it out of her. Simon was shocked and quiet for a couple seconds, not knowing what to say.
  „I, umm, I think that, yes, Thank you. I dunno." Simon said awkwardly
Emily looked at him while she stopped walking. He stopped and looked at her.
  „What?" He asked
She walked up to him and hugged him tightly pushing the side of her face into his chest. Simon was shocked, he froze for a second but eventually put one of his hands on her back and the other on her lower neck.
„Happy Birthday." Simon remarked
„Thanks." Emily replied while smiling since she had forgot herself. She later got birthday texts from both Daniel and Agatha.
They stood that way for a minute, Simon felt a tear roll down his cheek. They pulled apart, said goodbye and Emily walked into her house.

As Emily stepped into the cold atmosphere she had called home, she noticed her mother laying on the couch, passed out. She crept into her room and after an unbelievable, life changing event and an uncomfortable night, she found herself throwing her tired, exhausted body onto the twin sized bed in the corner of her room and fell asleep.

When Simon quietly crept into his house he turned around and saw Alice standing in the kitchen accompanied by Katherine.
„Hi." Alice remarked
„Where have you been spending your past twenty four hours?" Katherine asked
„Forest." Simon stated quickly regretting what he had just said
„Simon, that sounds absolutely terrible." Alice said
„You couldn't text me or something?" Katherine asked
„My phone died." Simon stated
„Okay, I haven't officially talked to you to about shit, so sit down." She said pausing between words and gesturing towards the chairs around the table. Simon and Alice sat down next to each other.
„Okay, so, I don't want you pregnant and I don't want you impregnating anyone." She said quickly trying to get the topic out of the way
„Wow. I'm a virgin and I have no intentions of being pregnant anytime soon." Alice stated
„Yeah me too." Simon responded
„That's actually very surprising." Katherine said shocked
„Why?" Alice asked slightly offended
„It's just that you both are very attractive for your age and you are a sixteen year old boy so it's just surprising." She replied
„Thanks?" Alice said questioning herself
„Okay. Also please have decent grades." She stated thinking what else she should talk to two teenagers about
„I have decent grades and Simon is like the smartest person I know in the science and maths department so yeah." Alice remarked
„Oh, great." Katherine said
„Anything else?" Simon asked
„Yes, do you guys need a therapist or something. I mean you witnessed your mom being killed and you've been abused a lot." Katherine said
„You should see his torso." Alice said jokingly.
Simon looked at her annoyed.
„Okay, I'm getting you two a therapist." Katherine stated while getting up from the table thinking to herself that she is taking care of the most traumatised kids on earth.
