The Elements

It had been a week since the four friends got caught in an explosion that changed there lives completely, but also for the better. Simon and Agatha had been having fun exploring there limits and experimenting with their new abilities while Daniel and Emily had tried to just forget about them.

Simon, Daniel and Emily were at the lake while Agatha was at home with her mom, avoiding Daniel.
„You think I could light the water on fire?" Simon asked
„No." Emily replied as she sat down on the log, while Daniel stood behind it
„Don't try." Daniel stated
„Okay then." Simon stated, realising that that probably wouldn't work anyway
„However." Emily started „I could probably do something."
She said noticing that Simon was kind of disappointed
„You sure? You haven't really done anything with this yet." He asked not wanting to force her into anything
„Yes." Emily replied
„Okay then." Simon responded
Emily sighed, and then put her hand on her lap and opened her fist. She moved her fingers up and a sphere of water moved with them. She moved it upwards and around a bit, until she brought it above them and dropped it. She laughed and Simon grinned.
„Wow." Daniel said, as the only dry person there
„Nice." Simon stated sarcastically
Emily looked at Daniel and then back at Simon who was sizzling.
„Your shirts smoking." Emily said
„Shit." Simon remarked as he took his shirt of
Emily looked at him surprised that he was comfortable enough to do that. She looked back at the water and sighed. Simon was already dry so he put his wet shirt on his forearm and used it as a radiator. It took a minute before his shirt dried completely and he put it back on.
„School tomorrow." Emily reminded them
„No. I do not except that." Simon replied
„Okay then." Daniel remarked
After they finished hanging out they walked back home and got ready for school tomorrow.

The next day Simon walked into school without Emily, since she was sick. He spotted Daniel and Agatha at the entrance of the school and started to walk up to them.

„Soo?" Daniel said
„So what?" Agatha replied confused as she was leaning against the wall behind her
„We kissed." Daniel stated
„Yes." She replied
„I enjoyed it." He remarked awkwardly
„Me too. Quite a lot actually." Agatha agreed
„So what now?" He asked
„I don't know." She said playfully while biting her lip in a mischievous way.
Daniel got closer to her as she pulled his shirt. He leaned in and kissed her while she kissed him back for around five very long seconds. As Agatha lightly pushed him off, and he pulled away smiling, while she was playing with the hair tie on her wrist, also smiling. Daniel turned around and noticed Simon walking towards them.
„So is this a thing now?" He asked, since he had just seen them kiss, quite passionately in fact. Daniel looked back at Agatha as if he was asking her for permission. She looked back happily.
„I think so." Agatha replied while smiling
„Yeah." Daniel said in agreement also smiling
„Okay." Simon said, as he was also smiling. He sat down on the bench next to Agatha and Daniel as they did so too.
„So did you two fuck and now your dating or something?" Simon asked
„What? No?" Agatha replied shocked
„We kissed like a week ago and again now." Daniel replied to Simons question
„So your dating?" Simon asked
Daniel looked at Agatha awkwardly again and she rolled her eyes.
„I guess so?" Agatha stated questioning herself
„Okay." Simon responded happily as the others sat there slightly confused but also happy at the same time.
„We have a science test now. Let's go." Daniel remarked
„Okay." Agatha stated
The three of them got up and walked to the classroom. They sat down next to each other as the teacher handed them the piece of paper.
Daniel looked at it and sighed. He looked over at Agatha just to see the confusion on her face.
About fifteen minutes had past when Simon got up and turned in his test.
„Done already?" The teacher asked
„Yep." Simon responded
Mr. Hart picked up the paper and looked at it.
„Okay then." He said
Simon sat back down and rested his head on his arms on the desk. Daniel looked over at him and back at his paper. Him and Agatha finished the test at the end of the class. As they walked out of the classroom they sat down on the floor.
„It's freezing in here." Agatha said
„Yeah." Daniel agreed
„I feel fine." Simon responded
He got up and sat between Agatha and Daniel. The heat coming off of his body surrounded the three of them and they immediately felt the temperature rise.
„Thanks." Daniel stated
„Yeah." Agatha remarked
„When did you learn how to do that." Daniel asked
„Unlike you I am not trying to hide my ability from myself. Yesterday, I think." Simon remarked
„Okay." Daniel stated
„Be nice." Agatha said
„Emily's going to be at school tomorrow." Simon said changing the topic
„How'd you know that?" Daniel asked
„She told me yesterday." Simon said
„When?" Daniel asked
„When we got home. On the phone." Simon replied
„Why'd she text you and not everyone?" Agatha responded
„She didn't text me, she called me and it came up when we were talking." Simon stated
„Oh, okay." Agatha said surprised
The next three classes were boring as usual.
