The three friends recoiled in dread, their breaths coming in quick gasps as they exchanged frantic glances, each one reflecting the mounting panic in the dimly lit room.

Jr. spoke with an intensity that sent shivers down their spines, his voice low and heavy with ominous weight. Shadows danced across their faces, heightening their anxiety as they nervously shifted their gazes from one to another.

The tension was palpable in the air around them.

"W-Well Dad... now t-that's being mentioned y'know Matt here— was actually gonna tell you about the target... w-what was that, Matt?" Jr. said which made the other boy snarl at him

"Boss, as you know... the target was very challenging—" Henry interrupted him

"The target is still out there..." This made the boss turn slowly to face them... with his legs crossed as he fidgeted with his fingers against each other with his palms together

"What do you mean the target is still out there? You didn't detain him?!"

"N-No sir... well y-you see..." He puts his hand up to silence him and rubs his forehead in frustration

"I gave the five of you simple instructions!! Just very easy thing to do... was to find and detain!!!" *he slams his fist on the armrest of his chair* "And what did you all do instead?!" Jr. raised his hand ready to speak but his Father interrupted:

"The deceased one, Josh.. wanted to rape Shadow! And as for you two!" *he gestures towards Jr. and Matt* "You wanted to kill Sonic who is— if it slipped your minds, the target! And before you ask... I have robots— I can see what you all are up to" He glared at the two as Henry snarled

"Henry tried to tell Josh.. but oh no! Josh always thought he knew best... he was the one who jeopardized the mission!" Matt spat as Jr. added:

"But the only reason Shadow killed Josh was that we were gonna kill Sonic, but it just slipped our minds— I honestly thought Shadow was the tar—" The boss slammed his fists down once more

"You idiots! I specifically told you the blue one was Sonic!! How did it just 'slip your minds'?!" The two kept quiet as Henry broke the silence:

"Y'know boss, you didn't say that 'Shadow' was armed! Otherwise, this mission would've gone our way!"

"What did you think I meant when I said 'Shadow used to work for G.U.N' did you not understand? Of course, he's gonna be armed!" Henry rolled his eyes

"Well armed or not, all I know is that hedgehog took Josh's life! Because those two knuckleheads wanted to go beyond the mission?! I'm gonna get justice..." The boss leaned back in his chair as Jr. spoke:

"Don't waste your energy on that black hedgehog... now we know our target is the blue one, lets—" Henry snapped

"The only reason why you want Sonic is so he can be your play toy" Henry mumbled as Jr. glared at him which made the boss raise a brow
