"Hell no— ABSOLUTELY NOT!" The crystalline dark hedgehog crossed his arms as he glared at the Nurse rabbit that stood in front of him as she sighed

"Solaris.. come on— please? You have to hel—"

"I don't have to help that energized, no good wanna-be blueberry! He's the last pest I want to help! If you told me this over the phone— I would've instantly turned it down" She groaned as he turned around and was about to walk out the door before hearing Sky

"You two are so alike..." He paused and turned to look at her

"Don't— just not now" His ears pinned down as he sighed

"You can't deny this, Solaris— look if you're not going to do this for Sonic, then do it for your brother or even better me" His ear flickered upon hearing of his younger brother, and reaches to unfold a photo that he held close to him and gave a soft chuckle before putting the photo away and turning to face her

"You owe me one, Sky— you're so lucky you're like a mother to me, otherwise you'll be dead" She rolled her eyes

"Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen" He gave a smile and turned away leaving Sky in the room

"Good, now take another deep breath for me" Sonic did as he told as Dr. Hynes moved his scope around the azure one's chest before pulling away and writing in his clipboard before putting it away

"Great! Your heart is at its normal speed, if you keep it at this rate you'll be getting out of here by tomorrow" Sonic's eyes widened

"Tomorrow?! You said today I'll be getting out of here" His ears pinned as Dr. Hynes sighed

"I know Sonic, but don't worry we just need another monitoring done to be sure— I don't want to send you on your way just as of yet" Sonic sighed

"Okay, I guess that makes sense" Dr. Hynes gave a smile

"Now, what would you like to eat?" Sonic's eyes sparkled

"CHILI DOGS!"

The yellow-white two-tailed fox let out a wide yawn, stretching his arms above his head as sunlight streamed through his bedroom window. After shaking off the remnants of sleep, he hopped out of bed, his fluffy tails swaying behind him as he padded across the soft carpet toward the bathroom. There, he splashed cool water on his face, the refreshing sensation helping him fully wake up. 

Once invigorated, Tails darted down the staircase, his excitement bubbling as he anticipated breakfast. Entering the cozy kitchen, he rummaged through the cabinets and pulled out a carton of eggs, a box of waffle mix, and some delicious sausage links. 

Their savory aroma filled the air as he laid them out on the counter. With the rhythmic crack of eggs echoing in the room, he began cooking, the scent of breakfast wafting around him.
