Okay, so I'm coming back to writing this a little bit earlier than I said I would I'm a little impatient y'alls. I will be posting some of the Valentine's day chapters a bit early because I want a few parts to it like I did with Lantern Rite. Hope you enjoy~
You back back in Snezhnaya at last! As much as you had enjoyed your stay in Liyue, you were glad to be back home.
...If you could even call this place that.
It's only been a month since you had moved here and yet you're already homesick. No matter, you chose to do this after all. At least you could still write to them. Speaking of which, you probably should.
You entered your study and picked up one of your (many) pens (Why did you have this many pens?) and began writing a new letter to your family.
Greetings Moher, Father and Lithia,
How are you? I'm doing just fine here t the manor. I got the opportunity to go to Liyue for Lantern Rite thanks to Lord Capitano. It was so beautiful! I must bring you all there someday.
How has Ivan been? Has he visited? How are his studies in Sumeru? Please do tell him I wish him well.
In regards to your last letter, Lord Capitano has been treating me just fine. We don't see each other much for he is always on missions but he treats me well when he's at home. Though, I do feel quite short next to him. Like a little bird.
Please do not worry yourselves. I will be alright.
Sending you guys all my love,
Y/n l/n
Even though your letter felt too short, you didn't really know what else you could write about. Other than Lantern Rite, your life has been pretty boring. There were just far less tasks to do. The maids wouldn't let you cook until you had told them that it was your hobby and once, Quinn walked in on you cleaning your room and called the other servants to come and do it for you.
"I can clean my room myself!" you had pointed out.
"Nonsense! You are now the lady of this manor and it's our job to serve you!" Quinn had scolded.
"But━" you had started.
Quinn had cut you off with a glare.
"...Fine." you had sighed.
The only thing you really did these days were cooking and reading. You would occasionally go out for a walk but you quickly grew bored of them.
If only you were still back home. You and Lithia would play in the garden together all the time. You would paint together and have long talks on your walks and when your brother, Ivan, came back to visit, you would all go to the outskirts of Snezhnaya to frolic and play as much as you pleased all day. Oh how you missed talking to them and going shopping at the busy markets.
...Shopping! You could get gifts for them!
And perhaps it'll compensate for the short letter.
It waws moments like these when you were relieved that you had listen to your mother and brought your own mora but you should really find a job soon. After all, it was you who had asked Capitano to marry you. You'd at least not be dead weight to him and burden him further.
But for now, the mora you already had would suffice.
You quickly put your coat on and quietly slipped outside and began heading towards the market nearby. Wandering from one stall to another, you thought about what you would get them.
You knew your mother loved the sights of Liyue so you got her a Cor Lapis pendant in hopes that she'll remember her time there. There were these pair of earrings that your sister would like so you got that too. And your father would love this coat! Madelyn...That hair pin would look nice in her hair. She'd like that! And Quinn adores these fluffy blankets! You had been shopping for a while and finally decided to sit down for a moment to catch your breath. Let's see...You got your mother, father and sister gifts as well as your other friends back home like Nina and Lily. You also your brother (Ivan) that pen set and your aunts and uncles all got something as well. You had gotten everyone a gift!
...Except...
You didn't have anything for Capitano.
You didn't have a single idea on anything to get him.
He was always on missions and was never home, never ate with you, never had any hobbies that you knew of and he never seemed to even sleep!
What could you even get him?!
...

Neither of you had a ring from you marriage.
You were fine that he never gave you one. But...you really didn't have anything other ideas. Plus, it was normal for married people to wear rings...right?
...Right?
You decided to listen to those thoughts and made your way to a jewelry shop.
There were so many choices!
What about silver? Gold? Should you get a plain one or one with highlights or one with one big gem? What does he like? What color might he choose? What style?! You didn't know!
As you were browsing through them, trying to find one you think he'd like, one in particular caught your eye.
It was made of silver with accents made of Noctilucous Jade. Something about just...called out to you. You bought the ring and began walking back to the manor.
'Would he even like the ring? What about the sculpture? Oh...I really hope he likes them...'
