Please help me my ice skating costume is killing me it's so itchy help.
Btw, this is still in the middle of the night in the story.
Warnings: Mentions of alcohol.
You felt something shift around you.
"Mnn..." you mumbled, clinging onto the object tighter. What were you even holding onto? It's huge...And...cold?
Your eyes cracked open and you saw armor. Armor? Who's armor was─
Oh. It's Capitano, isn't it? And you're currently cuddling him right now. Riiight...
Your instincts kicked in and you pushed him away, red faced.
You sat up and blinked, your mind registering what just happened while Capitano sat up.
"Are you uncomfortable, wife?"
You turned away, your mind still hazy from the drinks.
"I-I'm fine!" you said, a little bit to loud.
You stood up and walked around the bed to leave your room when Capitano called you again.
"Where are you going?"
You stopped.
He took your wrist and gently pulled you back.
"You need rest, wife. Sleep."
"..."
You didn't protest when he pulled you into his arms and laid back down with you. You hoped he couldn't hear how fast your heart was beating right now.
You stayed like that for a while before he spoke again.
"Can you not sleep?"
"...No..."
He sighed, which was probably the most emotion he had ever shown to you, and sat up.
"...Can we go for a walk?" you asked hopefully.
He nodded and you went to grab your coat while he walked to the front door.
You caught up with him and ran ahead on the path, and into the woods.
The moon was high in the sky and the stars were as bright as diamonds as you walked down the path. The cold air caused your breath to be visible and froze the tears on your eyelashes that had formed when you tried to get you hair out of your face and accidentally scratched yourself instead.
Capitano followed behind you as you ran around, letting you burn off your energy.
You saw a fluffy pile of snow and your first thought was to jump in it. And, with you being you, you did jump in it, making Capitano having to fish you out of the snow because it was too deep.
You kept running down the path instead of sticking with him though and almost fell in a ditch.
Capitano said nothing during the entire walk and followed you while you ran around like a crazed hamster (hehe hamster), jumping in the snow and climbing trees, making sure you didn't get injured.
After about half an hour of your shenanigans, you had worn off your energy. You quietly joined Capitano's side again and began to trudge back to the mansion, soaked in cold water and covered in leaves.
"...Are you tired, wife?"
You nodded and leaned on his side, the alcohol still affecting your actions.
"Yeah..."
He stopped.
"Would you like me to carry you?"
Not processing what he actually just said, you nodded and jumped on his back, giggling again. He let you cling onto him as he walked down the path and back to the mansion with you giggling and kicking your feet the entire way. Once you got back, you hopped off his shoulder and ran up to Quinn, who was standing by the door.
"Quinn! Guess what? A squirrel was like chasing me and he had really big eyes and he almost got to me but then I fell into the snow and then─"
"Y/n, are you still drunk?' Quinn interupted.
"Yeah...hic."
Quinn gently took your hand and guided you to your room as Capitano went to meet with the Fatui members that had probably arrived when you went for your walk.
"And then I fell off that tree and into the snow and like it was so cold, y'now? Oh! There was also that deer that..."
You trailed off, flopping onto your bed.
"Y/n, get changed. You're soaking wet."
Quinn exited the room for you to change. Should you even change? ...Nah, you're too tired. Maybe you should just sleep. Yeah, you wanna sleep right now. You're tired...
The crackling of the fire lulled into a deep, dreamless sleep.
I'm back and alive and idk man I spent 48 hours in the span of 4 days training on and off the ice and I'm dying on the inside. Also, guess who got NAVIA?!?!?!? She's my queen and you can't take her from me. I'm gonna try to get Kazuha in the Inazuma chronicled banner. I didn't have a gambling addiction until I started playing Genshin and now I play Genshin to cure said gambling addiction.
I had no clue what to name this chapter. Also I'm eating lunch while writing this. Your welcome for the early chapter.
Here's a poem from me bc I can:
Genshin is love,
Genshin is life.
If you disagree,
Imma stab you with a knife.
