Just a random thing at this point, I don't even know...

I'm experimenting with my writing style (using two of my favorite Sprunki's) in this oneshot, so this one is definitely gonna be longer than the rest lol.

Probably won't do it again, so please enjoy even tho the ship is weird ♡

Today was a slow day in Sprunki Hollow (the name of the town I came up with). A usually lively town that's music-filled is now cloaked in a comfortable silence, it's residents all laying low for one day. Though these days don't come often, there's always a handful of Sprunki's who always love these sort of days. Those Sprunki's being Gray, Jevin, Black, and Durple.

A day in their town is rarely silent, and even if it is, that doesn't automatically mean its residents lay low; they still occasionally pop in on each other. But today, there was absolutely nothing going down. No singing, no visits to meet friends, just... pure silence. All that can be heard was the occasional wind blowing, and the sounds of nature around them. Seeing how it was the perfect time to relax, Durple heads out of his nest, jumping from tree to tree, and finally perches on a comfortable branch. With a deep sigh, he leans back against the sturdy tree, placing his hands behind his head and basking in the warm sunlight.

'This day couldn't get more perfect...' Durple thinks fondly to himself, a rare genuine smile spreading across his face. For once in his life, he was actually in a good mood. With the occasional wind blowing to cool him down sometimes, Durple finally feels at peace, and he begins to doze off of the tree. But a sudden twig snapping wakes him up, and one of his fins perk up as if he had been alerted. He slowly opens his eyes and glances down at the ground, and found the souce of the noise.

It was Owakcx... staring blankly at him. The two stare at each other for a while, but sooner or later, Durple breaks the awkward silence with a deep sigh. "Can I help you?" He asks, slight annoyance tinged in his tone, and tail too, as it flicks in slight annoyance.

Owakcx doesn't respond immediately, but instead he glances at the branch Durple is on, then back up at him. After a few awkward looks, Durple finally realizes what Owakcx is trying to ask of him. He turns away and folds his arms, grumbling in annoyance. "No. I don't want you up here with me. Go away." He huffs, clearly uninterested in being bothered by Owakcx right now. But as you expected, the lime idiot could care less about what Durple wanted. He only walks closer to the tree, placing a hand on it.

"...Help me up." He suddenly speaks. His voice only annoys Durple more, and he turns back to the large man. "No means no. Now leave me alone, Owakcx."

Owakcx, who still doesn't get the message, attempts to climb up the tree, shaking it slightly as he grabbed onto it. Durple nearly falls off, but he carefully steadied himself, holding onto the branch for dear life. After he was steadied, he turned to Owakcx with an irritated glare. "I said no! Go away!" Durple tries to shoo him off, but Owakcx ignores this and still attempts to climb up the tree. After some attempts, he manages to climb up and over Durple, sitting beside him on the branch as the dragon is still holding the bark of the tree tightly.

Of course Durple was annoyed, and his grumbling showed that, but he decides to go back to relaxing and ignoring Owakcx. That was short lived, as he felt something poke his tail. Durple opens one eye and looks over at Owakcx, who was now poking his tail with large dilated pupils. Still pissed about what went down earlier, Durple brushes his hand away with a scoff. "Keep your hands off of me, will ya? I'm trying to sleep here."

"...Oh. Sleep." Owakcx repeats, his eyes constricting back to normal, uneven sizes. He looks at the ground blankly, then looks back over at Durple "Let's... sleep together, Durple."
