Chapter Thirty-Six

"How is everything going?" I asked, putting my hands in my pockets.

"Well, we are getting there. Had a few hiccups this morning but we...fixed the problems," Dom said before turning back to taping the balloons in their homes.

"Hiccups? No, Salvatore tried to rip your head off because you said that Olaf wasn't the best Disney character," Enzo said, stopping what he was doing to face us.

"It is true, the best character is Genie," Dom said, looking offended.

"We are men in a dangerous work field, and this...this is how you all want to argue," I said looking at them.

"Because Olaf is the best character and he knows it but he refuses to admit it!" Salvatore shouted walking over to us.

"Chill out, Olaf is the best character we get it," Enzo said, holding his hands up. Salvatore slowly nodded and walked away glaring at us. I shook my head and walked around the boat to see what they have successfully completed. They almost had everything done, and I was about to start helping when Liliana called me.

"Yes, my love?" I asked, putting the phone between my shoulder and ear.

"Luciano, you have to get here and I mean fast! Oh my god! Shit, shit, shit!" she said, frantically into the phone. I could hear them running and gunshots which caused me to jump up.

"Darling, what is going on?" I asked, trying to find my keys.

"One minute, we were laughing and looking for clothes. But then the next we are being chased around and they started shooting," she shouted at me, "no go that way,"

"Okay, don't worry, I'm on my way. I need you to try and find somewhere to hide. I put a mini pistol in your purse a while ago so if needed use that until I get there," I said, running towards my car. I signaled for Enzo and Salvatore to follow. No questions asked, they stopped what they were doing and started running with me.

"When did you," was all she got out before I hung up on her. Now was not the time for her to start lecturing me. I peeled out of the gravel drive and made my mad dash to the mall they were at. I looked in the rearview mirror to make sure that they were following me.

Once we made it, there were hundreds of people standing around the parking lot talking to each other and continuously looking at the front doors. I didn't bother to park the car correctly. I ran up front, gun in hand, and pushed my way through before kicking the door open.

"I'll go this way, Enzo go that way, and Luciano, go the other way," Salvatore said, going in his direction. I went the way he pointed to and kicked down every door that was shut. I looked forward to see a man dressed in black walk around. I went into one of the rooms and looked at him once more before shooting him.

As soon as his body hit the ground, I made my way over to him and took off his mask. On his neck was the Costello marking. Are you fucking kidding me? I clenched my fist together. We checked that whole damn building how is there more of them. Damnit, Dean more than likely fucking told them when we planning to attack them. I got up and walked over to the nearest wall.

I placed my hand on the wall and punched it several times before regaining my posture. I continued to walk around the wall until I met back up with Enzo who thankfully had the girls following behind him. Liliana ran up to me, crushing me into a hug. I looked up at Enzo who was giving me the same look I was giving him. He nodded understanding that we all minus the girls needed to talk.

"Can we leave now?" Mom asked, looking around her. Annalise was attached to her hip. She had this look on her face that I was not a fan of at all. Since she has been here, I have had this feeling in my stomach.

"Yeah, you guys can leave now," I said. She nodded and hugged Annalise back which caused Lili to leave me to go over to them. I motioned for Enzo to come over to where I am.

"Go somewhere away from the girls and call the people to get the bodies to be looked at," I whispered into his ears. He nodded and walked away while Liliana looked over at me. I shook my head causing her to nod and turn back to momma. Soon Salvatore came running back to us, he was about to start talking but I shook my head and then nodded at the girls.

"Salvatore, get Enzo's keys and give them to mom," I said, causing him to nod and go find Enzo. Liliana peeled away from momma and made her way back over to me.

"Are you going to tell me what you guys are keeping from us?" She asked, putting her arms around my neck. I pulled her close and looked her in the eyes.

"It is nothing of importance, I promise. Just business," I said.

"Business things that you don't want to tell me or strictly can't tell me?" She asked, laying her head on my chest.

"Can't because like I said it is nothing of importance," I said, lying through my teeth. She hummed and nodded, Sal came back with the keys.

"Momma Langello, why don't you take Lorenzo's car and go home with Liliana and Annalise?" Sal suggested, handing her the keys.

"Yeah, okay," she said, "come on girls. Let's go get something to eat to recollect ourselves," I watched as they left and as Alex, Xavier, Ricco and Leon walked in with some of the others.

"Alright, what the fuck happened?" Alex asked, leaning on one of the walls.

"The men that attacked the mall to get to the girls had the Costello marking on their neck," I said, running a hand over my face, "without a doubt, they are planning something and I have a damn good feeling it will be something bad and soon,"

"What's the move boss," Leon asked.
