Stella was running on the beach to clear her head after everything that was going on. the rumors were true just not the dating part. stella shepherd liked gracie abrams. why can't she just stick up and confess it?

the air blower lightly as the ocean swayed to the side softly. the girls features stay focused and determined as she continued to jog. clearing and definitely not thinking.

she made the way under the bridge that told her that the run on the beach was almost to an end.  being in her black bodysuit and jean shorts she felt sweaty slightly.

it wasn't from the long run, that's for sure. she never gets tired or sweaty from runs at all. she doesn't know if that's not normal, but she's also too anxious to ask google. maybe shes just stressing about gracie? about anything?

she stared off to the side of her. the ocean stayed deliberate and calm as it always did. she loved the ocean. ever since she was a newborn she loved it. it also made it special since gracie confessed on the exact beach.

not looking where she was going, she bumped into someone, making her step on air and making her fall face first into the sand. she spluttered the sand out from her mouth, her fingers going inside her mouth to make sure it all got out.

"stella!" a voice rang out. it was gracies clearly. why does every single time stella thought about her she randomly appears?  every single time!!

"oh, gracie!" stella said with fake excitement, the smile was on her face that it was forced. gracie could note that but didn't say anything immediately.

stella eyed gracie quickly, her short hair was slightly longer despite seeing each other a week ago.  she was wearing blue pants that fit around her waist perfectly and a black top that showed just the right amount of skin.

"about the rumors-" gracie started before getting cut off by stella.  stellas eyes widened slightly at the girls words.

"i know! they're so annoying." she said quickly with a small nervous laugh. gracie tilted her head at stella in confusion but also amusion.

"no, i was gonna.." gracie said, pointing towards herself but stella continued the nervous ranter.

"like it's just like it was a couple years ago. can you believe that?" stella quickly stated, acting shocked just for gracie. gracie smiled slightly at the girl, trying to be polite.

"right, but-"

"ooh you should paint your nails a baby blue, or a dark brown?  oh your nails would go with anything-"

"stella!" gracie exclaimed. stella stopped her rambling almost immediately. she was silenced, but gracie wasn't even done yet. "do you ever let anyone else talk?" gracie asked with a ever so slightly soft scoff.

stella swallowed the lump in the throat as she leaned back as gracie continued to speak. she had the stage and stella had to listen, which she always does.

"sorry, but, but the rumors are.. something." gracie confessed with a small nod. the blood rushed to her cheeks, the daylight making it look like a sunburn thankfully. stella waited to see where she was going with this. "i like you, stella. i've never stopped. i know this is a lot but.. but.." gracie confessed.

stella didn't say anything. she stepped back a step. the only thing that she questioned herself and what was the biggest priority was, what the hell is she supposed to do?
