"Is there a particular reason you're here?" Tsuki asked, looking up at Bakugo as they walked side by side on the sidewalk. It was now past evening, and the cidas were chirping to fill the silence after her question.

Bakugo shoved his hands in his pockets. "Didn't think it'd be a problem," he said, glaring at the other side of the road.

Tsuki felt nerves filled her throat. "No—it's not that. It's just—" She sighed and looked up at the moon. "I didn't think you'd ever come to visit me."

Bakugo didn't respond. Tsuki's face began to flush. "Crap. I haven't done this in so long. I don't remember how to act around him." She fiddled with her rings. "Or it's just I'm not the girl that you like anymore, ya know." She felt a lump form in her throat. "I'm not some inhumane entity blessed with power that could topple AllMight." She rubbed her arms. "And the whole nearly killing you thing isn't something I'd assume you'd get over so easily."

Bakugo bit his cheek. "You're a pain. You know that?" He stopped in his tracks, his shoes scratching against the concrete.

Tsuki sighed, looking down at her shoes. "Yeah, I know."

He placed his hands on the top of her head affectionately, then dropped his hold to her cheek as he tilted her face upward to look at him.

"You should also invest in tissues," he said with a small smile, using the base of his thumb to wipe her tears.

Tsuki sniffled with a small laugh. "I'm just so unsure of myself." She looked up at him. "I was the best. I was always better than everyone—my peers and teachers." She felt her hands shake slightly. "Being good was all I was. Untouchable was the foundation to my confidence." She smiled, shaking her head in sorrow. "But now, it's all gone." She looked down as her tears dropped from her eyes and stained the concrete below.

Bakugo hunched over and scooped her up, Tsuki kicking off the floor.

"Katsuki—" Tsuki's stomach was pressed against Bakugo's shoulder.

"Yeah, shut up." His arm wrapped around her torso. "I thought I said I don't wanna hear that crap from you."

"Katsuki—" Tsuki's voice wavered. "Put me down."

She kicked her legs around. Bakugo's laugh echoed through the evening, shooting down the block.

"Stop moving or I'm gonna drop you," he warned her.

Tsuki huffed, dangling her head in defeat. He carried her, occasionally pretending to drop her every few yards. They were at the foot of the staircase to Tsuki's apartment when Bakugo tossed her off his shoulder; though he attempted to appear careless, his hands hovered around to make sure she wouldn't actually fall. Tsuki stumbled, regaining her balance.

She lifted her leg and kicked the back of his thigh and his calf. "You're the worst."

"I thought you said you were the worst, Ms. Graciously Fallen Hero," he commented with an eye roll.

Tsuki's heart swelled in embarrassment. "Tuh. He's still as insensitive as ever."

Bakugo started up the stairs with his hands in his pockets. Tsuki followed behind him, growing nervous, her heart racing as she remembered his last visit and the events that followed. She shuddered. Bakugo exhaled through his nose, amused.

"New door, huh."

Tsuki rolled her eyes, grabbing her key from her pocket. "Shut up."

Bakugo's footsteps were close behind hers. A click sounded as she pushed open the door to her apartment.
