Two wins later, with Maya starting in both games and scoring too, and in 3 days they were playing against Everton.

Only three more games and the season is over. 

Maya's invitation for Leah to move in was still in the air, but that didn't bother the girls. Leah's mind became quickly occupied by physio sessions, so her mood increased too. 

Because she's less busy but still very involved with the team, because what is Arsenal without the blonde, the media team gave her a microphone and a list of questions to ask during gym. 

As she went on interviewing some people, Beth joined, so now the two blondes were walking around the gym laughing around.

"Look, there's miss tiny hands!" Beth said from afar, pointing at Maya, who was doing weighted squads. 

Maya lost her concentration, laughing, causing her to drop the weight. "Tell me, miss. How's it feel to have scored one of the best goals of the season?" Beth asked with a cheeky smile.

"Which one?" Maya asked, grabbing a towel to clean the sweat on her forehead. She flashed a smirk to the camera, her gaze stopping on Leah though she wasn't talking.

"The one you're playing with your hair" Beth said, a mocking tone in her voice, all in good fun. 

"Oh... How do I feel about it? Good" Maya replied, "How do you feel about it?"

"Me? Oh, I've seen better" Beth joked, making the three laugh. Leah started shuffling through the cards in her hand, and laughing even harder, showed it to Beth.

They mumbled some words to each other, leaving Maya completely clueless. Beth showed the card to the camera, and then she left. 

Beth came back with a guitar, and that's when Jen joined the group. "What's going on?" Jen asked, walking alongside Beth.

"Maya" Leah said, eyes squinting because she was laughing, her gaze becoming more tender when it left the piece of paper and landed on her girlfriend. "Can you play the guitar while playing football?"

Maya replied by laughing, that was so stupid. "I highly doubt that" she said, Beth handing her the guitar and passing her a ball. "What do I play?"

"One of your songs" Leah said, and Beth added "If you can sing too, we'll buy you dinner"

Maya sighed with a smile, thinking of the impossible task that was given to her. Plus, it was being recorded. She thought of all the things she needed to coordinate, every muscle she had to move and every action that needed to happen at the same time.

She started playing first, then started singing the chorus to one of her songs - steamboat - even though she hadn't released it yet, realizing she kind of forgot she had made an album. 

At this point, most of the girls in the gym had stopped doing their exercises to look at Maya and hear the voice they all loved and wished had discovered earlier.

In the meanwhile, Maya was playing the guitar, singing and doing touches to the ball. She even did an around the world before starting laughing and giving up.

Everyone started laughing too, some even clapping. Life's good in the Arsenal training grounds.

2 days before the Everton game, the team found themselves having a full-on concert in the dressing room with every player, even the injured ones.

The team was growing even closer to each other every day, and it was with a smile that Maya left the training grounds and went home alone. Leah was going out with a couple of her friends, so the purple haired girl opted to let her be.
