I groaned, shifting on the couch as my head pounded relentlessly. My mouth was dry, and my limbs felt like they were filled with lead. I blinked against the dim morning light filtering into the common room.

What the hell happened last night?

Memories flooded back—firewhiskey, truth or dare, singing in front of everyone... I cringed. Merlin, that actually happened.

I sighed and sat up, rubbing my face. Everyone else was still sprawled out around the room, looking just as rough as I felt.

"Morning, starshine," Blaise muttered from the floor, not even bothering to open his eyes.

"Shut up," I groaned.

Mattheo smirked from his seat. "You look like death."

"Feel like it too," I muttered, stretching out my stiff limbs.

Pansy yawned, curling further into the couch. "How long till we have to actually move?"

I turned toward Draco, who was already dressed, arms crossed as he leaned against the wall. He sighed, checking his watch.

"About fifteen minutes. So, I'd get up if I were you."

I groaned again, flopping back onto the couch dramatically. "I hate school."

Mattheo chuckled, nudging my leg with his foot. "Come on, let's get this over with. Breakfast first—maybe food will help that headache."

I wasn't convinced, but I forced myself to stand. The day was going to suck, but at least I wasn't suffering alone.

Theo groaned from where he was lying on the floor, rubbing his eyes. "Not long enough," he muttered.

Mattheo cracked one eye open and smirked at me. "Rough night, princess?"

I rolled my eyes, masking the unease still clawing at my chest. "Something like that."

Draco, already awake and leaning against the fireplace, checked his pocket watch. "We've got about half an hour before we need to be in the Great Hall."

Half an hour. I wasn't ready to face the day yet. I still felt heavy from the nightmare, my head pounding from last night's drinking. But I wasn't about to let them see that.

I stretched my arms over my head, shaking off the last bit of sleep. "Well, I don't know about you lot, but I need coffee. Strong coffee."

Pansy groaned from her chair. "You and me both."

Blaise sat up, rubbing his temples. "I vote we just skip today."

Draco shot him a look. "Like that's even an option."

I smirked. "Doesn't mean we can't pretend."

Mattheo chuckled and stood, stretching lazily. "Alright, come on then. Let's go suffer through breakfast."

With that, we all started moving, sluggish and reluctant but unwilling to admit just how exhausted we were.

We made our way to the Great Hall, dragging our feet the whole way. The second we walked in, the noise hit me like a wave—chatter, laughter, the clinking of plates. The usual morning chaos.

I slid into my usual seat, immediately pouring myself a cup of coffee. I took a long sip, sighing as the warmth settled in my chest. Better.

"You look like hell," Theo muttered beside me, smirking as he grabbed a piece of toast.

"Thanks, Theo. Always a pleasure." I shot back, rolling my eyes.

Mattheo plopped down across from me, stealing my coffee without hesitation. "Maybe if you actually ate something, you wouldn't feel like hell."
