Letting out a frustrated growl, Gamma 1 ran at Gohan once more, coming to a halt as Gohan's fist smashed against his cheek. Barely faltering, Gamma 1 dug his fist into Gohan's gut, knocking him back. Over and over, Gohan kept rushing at Gamma 1, and over and over, Gamma 1 kept beating him back. Even as a Super Saiyan, Gohan stood no chance of winning, as they were at a complete stand still.

"This isn't working," Piccolo huffed. Y/n sighed, watching the fight below her.

"He needs a bigger push than this," Y/n muttered, though she had no idea what that push needed to be. If Y/n getting kidnapped wasn't enough, then they would just have to think of something bigger, something worse.

Piccolo grabbed onto the neck of Y/n's shirt, the girl's eyes widening in surprise as she looked up to him. "Act like you're hurt. He needs to realize you're in real danger."

"Right," Y/n said with a grin.

Gohan heaved as he wiped the blood from his chin. Rushing at Gamma 1 again, his eyes widened as Gamma 1 grabbed him, whipping him around before slamming Gohan's back over his knee, a loud pop crackling in Gohan's ears. Gamma 1 threw him, Gohan's body crashing into the concrete as he skid across the wet ground.

"Damn it." Gohan slammed his fist into the ground, pushing himself up onto his feet. Just as he did so, an earsplitting scream ripped through the air, ringing in Gohan's head and heart as he looked up with wide eyes. The man at Y/n's side held her by her throat, lifting her up into the air as she kicked and fought. Her screams were suddenly strained, the hand around her neck squeezing, squeezing the air from her lungs.

Gohan didn't even register the Gammas voices as they demanded the man stop. His heart beat in his throat, Y/n's strangled voice disappearing under the downpour of the rain. How badly had they beat Y/n that she couldn't even defend herself, that they were free to treat her like nothing? How much had she suffered without anyone even noticing she was gone until they came after Gohan? The very thought that they had beaten her, possibly even tortured her, had Gohan's heart thumping in his chest, in his ears like a drum.

"Y/N!" Gohan shouted, his power suddenly exploding, skyrocketing. And in a burst of light, Gohan's own energy, the barrier surrounding the base was destroyed, revealing the clear blue sky above as Gohan transformed into his ultimate form.

Gamma 1's eyes widened as Gohan rushed at him. Taking to the air, Gamma 1 blocked Gohan's fist with his palm. Though unlike before, Gohan pushed right through his block, pushing Gamma 1 back as his other fist smashed right into Gamma 1's side. Whipping around, Gohan slammed his foot into Gamma 1's back, knocking him backward and off balance.

Before he could regain his balance, Gohan was behind Gamma 1, knocking him to the ground. Skidding across the ground, Gamma 1 looked up in surprise as Gohan turned his attention away from the fight to Y/n, who had been released. Just before Gohan could get to her, Gamma 1 jumped in the way again, blocking Gohan from Y/n. This only served to further anger Gohan, as their battle continued.

The tides had changed in Gohan's favor, and even their spectators could see that as Dr. Hedo panicked. "Gamma 2! You have to get in there and help him!"

"Right," Gamma 2 nodded, turning toward the fight. Just before he could get to Gamma 1 and Gohan though, he was hit atop the head with a helmet, looking up in confusion. His eyes widened as they met Piccolo's, wearing a familiar guard uniform. "Ah, so that's where you've been, spying on us, huh?"
