The door of the DGP's cabin was thrust open with a slight push as the Dogra Patriarch entered inside, his face wet, water droplets trickling down from the sides. Evidently he had been in the washroom for some time.
Vijaypath, Aravind, Raghav, and Rukmini looked on as he steadily made his way towards the chair he was previously sitting on.
"ASP Desai," he began, turning to look at Rukmini.
Rukmini turned alert immediately. "Yes, sir?"
"What time did you say she had arrived here, in the evening?" He probed, stoic and stern.
"At around four-fifty p.m., sir." The female officer replied.
He nodded, staring at something in the distance blankly, thinking about something deeply, in dead stillness.
