Children of the Force

After the council meeting we went directly to the meditation chamber. Myself, Master Yoda, Master Windu, Obi-Wan and Anakin all sitting cross-legged as we simultaneously reached out into the Force for any information. It was difficult to focus on the task at hand but I forced myself to, sealing my eyes closed and feeling for anything that was being disturbed or was going to.

"Mmm. A jungle world." Master Yoda hummed, not long into our session. "Dome cities I see. Rodia it is."

"A house in Kay Tap Square." Obi-Wan confirmed. "Yes, I see it too."

"There's an ocean planet, home to Nautolans." Master Windu spoke up.

"Glee Anselm?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. A small smile spread across my face at the rolling waves that entered my mind. The consistent noise funneling through my ears calming me.

"Glee Anselm, I see not." Master Yoda interrupted the calming effects the crashing waves were having on me.

"I think I do." I hummed, smiling as a whale breached the water I could see in my mind, spurting out unwanted water before diving back under the surface.

"I sense..." Anakin trailed off. "A place I've been to before." The image in my mind switched at his words, instead of crashing waves on beaches I now saw glistening stills waters running through a bustling city center. "Waterfalls. Naboo." He confirmed, I hummed acknowledging that I could see it too.

"Jan-gwa. A village, southern sector." Master Yoda added. "Sense it strongly, I do."

"The Gungan child was screaming." Anakin stressed, making my eyes blink open, brought out of my meditation abruptly.

"The future you see, young Skywalker." Master Yoda told him, my head turning to face him. "To Naboo you must go. Cad Bane you will find. With you, take your Padawan."

"You are certain there is no child on Glee Anselm?" Master Windu brought up, my attention flicking back over to Master Yoda.

"With all due respect, Master, I did see it too." I told him as gently as I possibly could.

"Into the shadow of the dark side taken the child was." Master Yoda informed us both, making my head hang low.

"We're too late." I breathed out .

"Yes, shrouded is his fate from us." Master Yoda hummed, sealing his eyes closed once again. "Great the loss is. But more children in danger there are." I shifted on my seat, uncomfortable that we couldn't do anything to help the child that had already been taken. "Loose sight on this, you must not."

"Of course, Master." I replied quietly, not lifting my eyes from the intricately designed flooring of the room.

"I shall leave for Rodia immediately." Obi-Wan spoke up.

"Go with him, you should Y/n." Master Yoda told me, a small smile flashing across my face as I nodded. Unfolding my legs from underneath me I prepared to stand. "Find more younglings we will." Master Yoda added, turning to look at Master Windu.

My orange ship smoothly exited hyperspace, it felt good to be back at the controls again. With R7 happily beeping throughout the cockpit. Watching Obi-Wan's ship thud in next to me, I turned my head, flicking on our comms system as we neared Rodia.
