Shes fine. Probably.
Bassie is one of those characters that you'd love to be in a relationship with, but god does this girl bring a lot of baggage with her when you finally get into a relationship with her.
She often goes to you for comfort outside of Eggson. You can often expect this when she has an existential crisis, or if she's just feeling icky that day. You should probably reassure her that she'll be fine. She practically melts from your reassurance and affection to the point where you'd have to mop her off the floor (figuratively probably).
Speaking of affection; the first time you hugged Bassie; you were faced with a hug that has the same amount of grip as a metal lock. Only briefly however because your brief (and guaranteed yelp) will have her losing up and apologizing. Maybe you won't mind, but the next time you hugged you swore it was by a feather.
Her need to be... needed is extreme in some cases, and that really does apply to you more than anyone else. She's scared of being replaced in general, but you replacing her as a girlfriend terrifies her, and that thought came up to her when she was thinking in her free time.

Bassie wants to be the person you want, at least- what she thinks you want. This includes being insufferably nice towards you and just literally doing everything for you. If you've finally had enough of it and had a sit-down chat with her about the whole ordeal this is how it would -most likely- go:

It gets kind of tense.
She can't help but overthink in some cases. Why are you talking to them for so long? Why are you spending less time with her lately? She can and does get paranoid about what you do, and what does she do? Absolutely nothing. Because she's able to tell herself that she's just being paranoid, that you wouldn't replace her like Delilah tried to replace her, right?
You would absolutely need to reassure her that you won't replace her. As already mentioned.
Away from all of the angsty stuff, Bassie constantly asks you to do casual spring activities with her. Flower pressing, flower picking, or when it's easter, Egg hunting with Eggson. It's the things that calms her down and you participating in those activities makes her extremely happy. More than she can really verbally admit.
She occasionally gives you gifts, which include but not exclusive to: Flower crowns, chocolate, chocolate eggs, or just generally whatever you like. She loves seeing your smile when receiving the gifts and your more or less the same when you do the same for her.
Let's assume you're a Easter Toon in this regard, whenever you're stored away in your Easter areas and whatnot, she likes to watch old episodes with you, much like her main Holiday Toon counterpart.
Regardless of what happens, she stays by your side throughout it all. You might constantly encourage her to do what she wants and not what others want. It won't change her mind immediately but keep preaching it and she'll listen and take your advice. And what she wants is really just being with you and her friends without too much stress.
Oh yeah, she isn't really a fan of you talking to Cocoa. Off topic but she really doesn't want you talking to her. You don't really know why.
