Has it occurred to you that one day, you'll miss my smile?
One day you'll look for my face a mile
You'll yearn for the love I have for you and the memories we sharedOur minds are entwined but not connected
You want to go, I want to know
Drifted apart, you didn't turn back while I cry
We're back to square one but not the oneThe last message I ever sent was, “I love you, I'm sorry”
When you decide to return to the home you abandoned, it will only be a house with a broken window and walls of mold will haunt you
When you decide to look for me in the widest of lands, you'll never find me
While you scream at the top of your lungs, calling out my name—I will no longer hear it
And when you realize you lost me and wish you never left, all will be a series of regrets and nightmares
