Mehul remained nestled in Shaurya's chest long after the kiss had ended. His heart was racing, cheeks still flushed, and every now and then, a nervous smile would tug at his lips as he thought about what had just happened.

Shaurya didn't move. His fingers gently ran through Mehul's soft hair as they stood quietly, the city lights flickering below them like little fireflies.

After a while, Mehul murmured, "Aapka dil... bhut tez dhadak raha hai, Shaurya ji."

Shaurya glanced down, brushing a strand of hair behind Mehul's ear. "Aur tum... tum us tez dhadkan ki vajah ho."

Mehul bit his lower lip shyly, turning slightly to look at the stars above. "Main kabhi soch bhi nahi sakta tha ki meri zindagi mein aisa koi hoga... jo mujhe is tarah mehsoos karwaye."

Shaurya leaned against the railing beside him, not breaking their closeness. "Main bhi kabhi nahi socha tha. Maine kabhi kisi ke liye kuch mehsoos bhi nahi kiya tha... jab tak tum nahi aaye."

There was something fragile in the air-like a thread slowly pulling them closer, heart to heart.

After a few moments, Shaurya spoke again, softer this time. "Tumhe kuch dikhana hai."

"Abhi?" Mehul asked, surprised.

Shaurya nodded and led Mehul inside. He grabbed a hoodie for Mehul and his own jacket, then quietly took him to the private elevator. Mehul didn't ask where they were going-he just followed, his trust in Shaurya silently growing with every step.

The elevator took them to the rooftop.

It was open, wide, and calm. The view of the Mumbai skyline from there was breathtaking. But what caught Mehul's attention was the small cozy corner Shaurya had set up-a large floor cushion, a few fairy lights strung around the railing, and a small lantern flickering gently beside.

"Aap yeh sab..." Mehul's eyes widened.

Shaurya gave a small smile. "Kabhi kabhi... mujhe bhi khud se baat karne ke liye jagah chahiye hoti hai. Par aaj, mujhe laga... yeh jagah tumhare liye perfect hogi."

Mehul slowly walked to the edge, eyes shining as he took in the view. "Yahan se toh... poora sheher chhoti si duniya lagti hai."

Shaurya watched him in silence.

They both sat down, side by side, the cool breeze brushing their faces. For a while, they said nothing, just sharing the space, the silence, and their slowly blooming feelings.

Then Mehul turned to Shaurya. "Shaurya ji..."

"Haan?"

"Main... main kuch kehna chahta hoon."

Shaurya's eyes locked with his.

Mehul's voice trembled slightly, but he spoke with sincerity, "Mujhe aap ache lagte ho... bahut ache."

Shaurya's breath caught for a second. His expression didn't change much, but his eyes-those dark, unreadable eyes-softened in a way they never had before.

"Mujhe bhi tum ache lagte ho, Mehul... isse zyada jitna main kabhi kisi ko pasand nahi kiya."

There was no dramatic music, no fireworks-just two hearts finally finding their voice.

Mehul smiled, tears lightly brimming in his eyes-not from sadness, but from a strange happiness he had never felt before. He leaned slightly, resting his head on Shaurya's shoulder. And for a long while, they sat like that-saying nothing, yet everything had been said.
