Hey guys, thanks so much for 5k views! Here's the next chapter for everyone who's been waiting! This chapter isn't as long as it usually is (I've been super busy this past month), but I wanted to release something so you guys know I'm still actively working on the story! As always, happy reading!

Tonari looked ahead at the man lying incapacitated on her bed. She sat in a comfortable maroon armchair, gazing at Sasuke, who had been out cold for about half a day. Around her, puppets worked tirelessly, sewing her version of a wedding dress and suit. A few weeks ago, Tonari designed the gown with the help of some of her puppets. It was pretty elegant, reaching the floor, with predominantly black fabric symbolizing the occasion's solemnity and Sasuke's reluctance to marry her. It had an extended collar and long, flowing, sheer sleeves that echoed a blend of the Ōtsutsuki's traditional wear and a classic kimono.
The puppets were also sewing a long black ceremonial robe with high shoulders and wide sleeves, adorned with slightly lighter gray stitches, and a dark sash tied together the robe's layers for Sasuke to wear on the supposedly happiest day of his life. It was to be wrapped diagonally around Sasuke's core, starting at his shoulder, crossing his chest, and ending at his hip. Additionally, a sheer black veil, reminiscent of one worn at a funeral, was being stitched for him. Tonari saw it as a symbol of tying him down forever by her side, regardless of his wishes, and their wedding attire was just the beginning. She eagerly anticipated their big day. She was so excited that he would finally be hers forever; he didn't have a choice.

Every village frantically came together back on Earth to prevent the moon chunks, now passing through the atmosphere as meteors, from crashing down on them. Some collected their treasures and evacuated their villagers, while others accepted their impending demise.
"Lord Raikage, the chakra cannons are ready for launch at your command; just give us the order!" One of the Hidden Cloud Village engineers called out to the Fourth Raikage, A. Countless ninjas sat on the floor, their heads connected to the chakra cannon, legs crossed, and hands together in readiness. It was up to them to destroy the meteor heading toward the Cloud Village.
"Good, alright, men, lead it up with chakra! We'll destroy the meteorites with the chakra defusion cannon!" A commanded, pointing his finger to the distant night sky, the stars watching the Earth, unaware of the incoming danger.
"Sir!" the ninja army called out as they channeled their chakra into the machine on their heads, transferring it to the cannon.
"Pulverize it, yo!" Killer Bee, the jincurrki of the Hidden Cloud village, called out, cocking back the lever of the cannon.

Back on the moon, Tonari and Sasuke were standing outside in front of the Ōtsutsuki wedding hall. Tonari had a massive smile on her face. Despite her dangerous nature, she looked stunning in her midnight wedding-komono beside Sasuke, who also looked handsome in his hand-sewn traditional kuromonpuku with a blend of the Ōtsutsuki's one-of-a-kind stitches and other accents.
"See, darling? It's not difficult to listen to your soulmate, is it?" Tonari said with an almost saccharine smile as her Tenseigan eyes bore into Sasuke's pupils.
Sasuke looked away, his face twisted into an utterly sickening, sorrowful frown. Tonari frowned back at him in response.
"Come on, my pet, don't give me that look. Right after our wedding, I promise I'll release all the hostages and leave that sunshine man with whom you seem to have so much history alone. But you have to be mine; understood?" Tonari reminded him, trying to lighten her soon-to-be husband's mood by bringing up their agreement. When he didn't respond, she resorted to subtle threats. "You don't want to lose the person you loved so dearly, do you?"
Sasuke quickly shot his head back at Tonari, shaking it. "No," he quickly said, his watery gaze locked with Tonari's sugary one.
"Good boy," she praised, satisfied, as if she were talking to a helpless puppy, gently patting Sasuke's head. "Don't worry one tiny bit, dearest, you have me now. After I take you to bed, I'm sure you'll forget all about him," Tonari whispered as seductively as she could, winking, but her attempts to woo her love just came off as creepy.
Sasuke's face twisted in disgust. "Yeah, I'm sure," he replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Suddenly, the wedding venue's large, black double doors adorned with golden accents and the Ōtsutsuki clan's symbol before them slowly opened, revealing the beautiful wedding hall. If Sasuke hadn't been forced into marriage, he would have found the wedding temple quite lovely; however, he wasn't marrying the person he wanted to. The sound of a gong ringing rang inside the temple, signaling Sasuke and Tonari to enter.
"Come on, dear," she said sweetly, her borderline demeanor shifting rapidly. They took a few steps onto the red carpet of the wedding hall. It was vast and colorful, with red pillars adorned with yellow stripes, tall windows made of blue cathedral glass, a wide altar, and yellow surfaces painted with blue stripes and orange circles on top. Countless puppets lined up as guests before the red carpet, watching as Tonari, wearing a sweet smile, and her soon-to-be husband, Sasuke, with a sorrowful expression, walked down the aisle side by side. Although classical, festive wedding songs would typically be playing as the soon-to-be-wed couple walked down the aisle together, the only sound that could be heard was the ominous sound of an off-tune gong ringing in the background.
Sasuke knew he should be happy right now—it was the supposed happiest day of his life—but he wasn't. He wondered what his mother and father would think if they saw him then, and what his dear older brother, Itachi, would think. His heart longed for their support during his darkest moments, not just now but throughout his teenage years and even some of his adult life. His heart yearned for Naruto to be beside him, but his mind reminded him of what was at stake. What did his life matter if he could save the village and the man he loved? He was certain Naruto would find someone else, a beautiful Konoichi who had never abandoned the village—someone better than him. This was his fate.
