Returning to the Resistance (Various! x OC/Reader)

"Gwen can hang with us." Espio suggested.

"Actually, I was thinking she could team up with Blaze." Amy said, making Espio deflate in defeat.

"Right. Resistance Assemble!" Eclipse declared, mocking the Avengers Assemble line, but everyone eyed him like he was weird except Gwen who giggled.

They were soon on the Battleship

"I really appreciate you coming to help. I know crowds aren't really your thing." Sonic said to Whisper.

"S'okay." Whisper says quietly.

"I'll give you some space. Be safe down there. okay?" Sonic said as he got up. he knew this was whispers biggest fight ever.

"You too." Whisper replied.

"I share the sentiment. I didn't think you'd be for a big team up." Rouge said to Shadow who crossed his arms with his head turned away from her.

"I'm here for my own reasons." Shadow stated.

"Mmm...of course you are." Rouge said knowingly.

Rouge then noticed Shadow looking at Gwen.

"Oh I see. You're actually a loyal pup to Gwen." she smiled teasingly. "I mean, she is cute.'

Shadow turned away slightly embarrassed as he blushed.

Rouge winks at Gwen a bit seductive.

Whisper scoots away from Zero, Eclipse and Shadow after glaring waringly at them.

"Are you sure that one can be trusted?" Blaze asked with suspicion, looking at Whisper.

"Whisper? Sure! She certainly likes to keep her distance. Kinda reminds me of how a certain princess used to be..." Amy said as she elbowed Blaze softly.

"Heh. I suppose. I was a bit... defensive... when we all first met." Blaze softly said as she remembered her first meeting with Sonic and friends. "And now I march to war with the lot of you."

"It's going to be rough out there. Please be careful on your own, and keep Gwen safe." Amy said.

"Do not worry. We'll win the day and I'll take care of her." Blaze reassured her.

"Haha! You're right. I need to stay positive!" Amy replied with a smile.

"I learned from the best." Blaze continued.

Amy then went to Gwen, who was still shaken from her experience from being mind controlled.

"So what's this Sally like and did she like Sonic?" Amy asked.

"She's cool." Gwen says. "And no, can't say."

"You can tell me." Amy said, eager to know.

"...She and Sonic dated." Gwen stated.

Amy's eyes widen like balloons as the world shattered around her. Sonic's eyes widen in shock.

"Sonic dating?! What's next? He's gonna take off his shoes?" Eclipse asked as Gwen immediately fell down laughing as soon as she heard his words.

"Actually, he did. Eggman tricked him. I missed it because I was with Knuckles teaming up with the Chaotix and fighting Metal Sonic. Then I got captured. Then Julie, a friend of mine back home told me the story and it cheered me up." Gwen explained, wiping away her tears

Sonic blushed. "Julie? Who is she?" he muttered.

"A magical girl. I wish you could meet her. She is the most kindest, generous and pure hearted hedgehog you ever meet. Oh, and she has a pet Fairy Dragon named Roselia. She can change her size and can fly as fast as Sonic!" Gwen says before looking at Shadow with a knowing look. "No running off. Got it?"
