Taehyung jumped, hand over his chest. "You scared me, hyung!"

Jaewook chuckled. "Sorry, I didn't even speak loudly." Tae sighed and nodded.

Jae stepped into the room, his eyes roaming the space fondly. "Ah, you never forget to come here whenever you visit... You even clean the room."

Taehyung just smiled and nodded, gently holding one of Jungkook's photos in his hand.

Jaewook picked up a notebook from the shelf and said softly, "Is there something I should know?"

Taehyung froze.

He didn't move. He just stared at the photo frame in his hand, his fingers slightly trembling.

"Don't get me wrong," Jaewook said gently. "I'm not judging you. I've just noticed... not just me Hobi, Namjoon, and I think Jin too. We all have."

Taehyung clutched the photo tighter. "What...?" he whispered, barely able to speak.

Jaewook rubbed the back of his neck. "Something like... love."

Taehyung gave a small chuckle, shaking his head. He placed the photo back carefully.

"Maybe it's more than that. Something even we don't fully understand yet."

Then, he turned and looked Jaewook in the eyes, calm, open, without any fear or guilt.

"But you all will know... first."

Jaewook smiled at him, nodding. "Something more, huh? Okay!" he repeated softly, his tone teasing but warm.

Taehyung blushed slightly and looked away. "We should go downstairs now."

He walked out of the room quickly, trying to hide his red face. Jaewook followed with a smirk, biting back a laugh.

"This bunny has been possessive since he was child... I don't even want to imagine how possessive he is now," Jaewook mumbled to himself.

Abroad
Jungkook's Dorm, Late Night

The dorm room was quiet, lit only by the warm glow of a small desk lamp.

Jungkook sat on his chair, wearing a soft grey hoodie that Taehyung had sent him long ago. The sleeves were a little worn, but Jungkook refused to stop wearing it.

His journal lay open in front of him, pages filled with neat handwriting, pressed flowers, and taped letters all from his Taehyung.

He looked down at the newest letter he had just received, smiling gently.

"He told them..." he whispered, his lips forming a soft smile. "My Angel didn't hide... He didn't lie..."

He held the letter to his chest for a moment, letting the warmth soak into his skin, into his bones.

"I'll come soon."

He looked toward the calendar pinned to the wall, where a small red mark circled the date of his military enlistment.

Most of his classmates and friends didn't understand why he suddenly made that decision. Like,

"You could've waited."

"You're doing great here."

"You're almost done, why now?"

But Jungkook knew why. Because he wanted to finish everything early so he could return sooner.
