Few Days Later~
Tae returned home in the afternoon after a quiet walk. He had told Jimin he needed some air, but truthfully, he just needed space to clear his head.
Liam’s words still echoed in his mind, ugly things dressed in the casual smiles.
No one else knew, and he didn’t want them to. It wasn’t worth spoiling Jungkook’s bright new beginning.
But as he opened the door to his room, something made him stop.
On the bed was a small white box tied with a golden ribbon. A little note was placed neatly on top in familiar handwriting.
“You always gave me rewards when I did well, my Angel. Now it’s my turn. Smile for me today, Angel. Just once, just for you.”
Taehyung stared at the note, lips trembling with a faint smile. He opened the box slowly.
Inside were handpicked chocolates from his favorite store downtown. Not too sweet, just like he liked.
He chuckled softly, the tension in his shoulders loosening. “You bunny…”

The next day, Taehyung found a small bouquet waiting in the kitchen beside the tea cabinet, soft lavender and white tulips wrapped in simple brown paper. Another note peeked from between the stems.
“These reminded me of you. Soft, calm, and kind. Take your time. I’ll wait, always. My beloved Angel.”
He stood there for a long time, holding the flowers against his chest.
