"Leave me!" He almost shouted. A breath caught in his throat.
"Leave all of us. To go become a villain? I don't buy it. She wouldn't do that." Hitoshi stood up, and made his way out of the campus.
"That's not the way to school." Aizawa shouted, watching him walk the opposite way he should be. With a huff, Hitoshi walked off towards the school.
And as soon as Aizawa was out of sight, left UA via a different route.
Rubbing his arms, he fought the cold and walked as quick as he could to my apartment. Ignoring looks from passersby's wondering why he was skipping school and not wearing a coat, he eventually reached his destination. He welcomed the warmth of the social housing complex, entering through the broken communal door. He entered my apartment using his key, taking a look around.
In my bedroom, the closet was opened, with clothes haphazardly thrown around. Dabi told me to pack only the necessities and quickly, after all. He moved to his own bedroom. The duvet was disturbed, moved around from where I sat down after leaving the school. He sat down in the same spot, not able to stop tears from escaping. He quietly sobbed, holding his face. He was sad, angry. For thinking someone would stay, that someone would want to look after him, that someone would want him around. For crying like a pathetic child, and not behaving like the mature 15-year-old he is, perfectly capable of taking care of himself! He's done it before, so why not now? He picked up his pillow, burying his face in it as he cried. He lifted his head, noting there was a folded up note where his pillow just was. I had hidden it under his pillow, hoping he would find it. Sniffling, he put down the pillow and unfolded the note.
'Hi Hitoshi,
I'm so sorry I left. I promise I'll be back. I'm on an undercover mission right now. When they told me I wasn't allowed to tell you, I refused to do the mission. But they didn't give me a choice. I told them I didn't want to hurt you, but they said I have to do it anyways. You can't tell anyone what I'm doing, okay? Just keep acting like you hate me for becoming a villain. Or maybe you really do still hate me, which I'd get. Either way, you need to keep this to yourself. Aizawa knows, but that's it. If you tell anyone and it gets back to whoever the UA leak is, it will compromise the mission. I've taken the decision to tell you, as I know it's not you. It would never be you.
I promise I'll be back before you know it. We'll have Christmas together. Speaking of, start putting together your Christmas list for me.
Words can't describe how awful I feel about leaving you. Even if it was for a good reason (although it isn't much of a good reason if it involves leaving you), I still left you. So, I'll get it if you're angry when I come back. It's no excuse- at the end of the day, I still went away, even if not by choice.
Unless I'm wrong and you actually don't care either way, considering we've only had this arrangement for a month now. Though, it feels like I've known you forever.
On the off chance I do in fact die, then it's been a privilege fostering and teaching you. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I am so sorry. I miss you already.
Love from, Y/N.
PS. I hope you got to this letter first before one of the League did. Haha. Keep this safe when you're done reading it. Or shred it.
PPS. Your allowance is in your top desk drawer.
PPPS. I stocked up on your favourite beef flavour noodles. They are in the kitchen cupboard. Also, if I'm not back in time to take you, don't forget your dentist appointment on the 21st. I'm running out of room on the paper now, so bye! <3'
