I heard the worried chatter of people around me, my vision was slightly blurred before it adjusted to my surroundings. I was in a small room, laid on a coach, a staff room?

"Are you okay, Ms Gypps?" A voice asked.

It was my agent, Patrick, I rose my head and gave small nod as I came out of my daze.

"Do you know this man or should I call security?"

My eyes met Adam's strong gaze again, as he sat across from me. My body tightened, now I remember. I tried to keep myself composed, I didn't know where to begin.

"I'll explain later, he can stay-"

"Is he-"

I ignored Patrick, as he backed out the room closing the door behind him, "I'll leave you two alone then."

My slumped back on the coach, staring at the ceiling, "I can't believe this."

"Neither can I, I have been searching for your for year. I went back to Switzerland after I heard about my story being told, but I couldn't find you." He sounded upbeat, "So I asked round and I found out you were here in England!"

"You can't just walk back in my life after 9 years as if nothing happened." I cried.

"I know but-"

"No. You don't. You have a son."

He grew pale, then he laughed to himself softly, "I have a son?"

I folded my arms as I sat forward, "His name is Frederick, I only found out I was pregnant after you left."

"Amit, I'm sorry. If I knew I-"

"It wouldn't have changed anything, it's okay I wasn't alone I had help."

He nodded, "Good. I will have to visit him, does he know about me?"

"I told him the truth not long ago, he was confused, I don't think he fully understands. Hopefully one day he will."

"Can I see him?" Adam asked.

"Of course. I still can't believe you're here."

I stood forward placing my hand on his cheek, it was really him, the same boy I fell in love with. Only 9 years old, he seemed less hardened by the world, he was well.

Tears welled up in my eyes, "I thought you were dead."

"I wanted to write, I had no idea where you were either."

"Where did you go?"

"America, a lot of Nazis are over there. I mean, they are escaping the law, while I didn't actually kill anybody so I've been let off. I've been doing a lot of interviews, it's been weird."

He placed his arms around me, "Thank you Amit. You were worth the risk."

"No thank you." I laughed.

"But Amit, I have to tell you something, I have a family in America, I started a new life."

I lowered my head pulling away from him, suddenly noticing gold ring on his finger, "I knew it was too good to be true."

"Amit I'm sorry, I didn't think you would wait for me and- I don't know what to say. I loved you, I really did and I missed you so much. But we were kids, I'm 30 years old now, I've grown up." Adam explained.

"I get it, it's fine, I just felt guilty if I ever conveyed with anyone else, I had your son as a constant reminder."

"I didn't know that! We are different people now."
