Remember Me

A few months after returning home from the long journey to defeat the Metarex, Sonic and his friends continued to fight Eggman to prevent his evil plans to become reality. Although he attempted multiple times to establish his "Eggman empire," Sonic and his friends always defeated him. 

***Eggman's Lair***

"I just can't stand it anymore!" Eggman growled with rage, hopping off of his destroyed ship near the seashore. "No matter how hard I come up with a plan to defeat Sonic, he always defeats me! Something has to change in order to build my empire."

"Maybe I can help with that." Eggman turned around hearing a cold voice, seeing a ferocious dragon. "Woah!" Eggman jumped in shock, hiding behind his battered ship, fearing for what he saw.

"What are you scared of?" said the dragon with a smile. 

"First thing, who are you!?" Eggman shouted. 

"I am Ryujin, the leader of a dragon land far away from here. I heard you need some assistance in defeating someone?"

"Yes, indeed I am!" Eggman grunted, walking out from his ship to the dragon. "A blue hedgehog who is always in my way!"

"Hmm. Why do you think is he always defeating you?"

"Because he has his super speed and strength, and his annoying gang too!"

"Hmm, I see." Ryujin smiled. He then opened his arms horizontally showing an image of Sonic and his friends in front of him "Are these the ones that are causing the trouble?" 

"Why, yes!" Eggman replied in surprise from Ryujin's magical abilities revealing an image of them.

"Great, come with me." said Ryujin, closing his arms, making the image disappear. 

"Just hold on there!" Eggman snapped. "I don't join groups with anyone in this fight. Especially since I don't know who they are!"

"Then you can just fight them by yourself and lose every time you get the chance to fight them." 

Eggman paused, thinking what the dragon told him. "Why are you desired to help me with this scenario?"

"Because I sense something powerful in this part of the land, as if someone holds great power." replied Ryujin with a voice of hunger. "The group you just mentioned I believe is who I am looking for. Why not work together to get what we want?"

"And how do you suppose we do to them?"

"Beat them down, find the source to this great power, and kill them." Ryujin laughed coldly. "And you will have no one else in your way to keep you from building that empire of yours."

Eggman thought more of what Ryujin said. He then chuckled evilly. "I think we have a deal."

"Good."

**IMPORTANT TO KNOW **

Ryujin is  a dragon who is from the dragon lands of the Mobius planet. He is powerful from gaining power from sources of life, including living souls. He often gains power from someone willing to sacrifice something that holds dearly in their hearts in exchange for something else in return, like either for mercy or gain. Ryujin consumes that power from sacrifices, and often gives him more more power than taking it by force without a sacrifice.
