Remember Me

Amy watched Sonic walking away after dropping her off at her place.

"Sonic, wait!" She started to run towards him. He looked back, seeing her run close to him, holding his hands. "Let me come with you!"

"You can't come. It's too dangerous."

"But you need me to get those memories back, right?" Sonic looked at her, knowing that she was right. He nodded, holding her hands in a tighter grip.

"Do you need anything before we go?"

"Nope, you?"

"Nope." Sonic let out a small smile, then wrapped his right arm around her waist. She held on to him tightly, ready for the run. After they took off, Amy realized how far away they were traveling. Finally, they arrived at the doors of Ryujin's palace. He looked up, seeing the darkness of the place, not sure how dangerous it could be if they went inside.

"Stay here." Said Sonic as he left, opening up the front gates.

"How come? Let me go with you."

"I want to make sure everything is clear for your safety." Said Sonic as he walked up to the large entrance doors. Sonic didn't like the sound of knocking on them but zoomed up step by step till he reached a window. Amy watched him in worry, fearing he would fall.

"Be careful, Sonic!"

"Amy! Shh!"

It was too late. Different forms of dragons started to surround the pink hedgehog from her loud voice.

"Great." Sonic rolled his eyes, jumping off the castle, zooming close to Amy. Amy trembled in fright from the numerous amount of dragons surrounding her. She was about to bring something out to defend but was stopped by a voice.

"Don't even think about summoning your hammer, Amy!" Sonic shouted, holding Amy close and tight to protect her.

"Then what should we do!? Ryujin was enough to defeat all of my friends in battle in minutes, and now there's tons of them!!!" Amy cried in fear, grasping hold of Sonic for dear life.

"This way!" Sonic quickly carried Amy bridle style, zooming past the group of dragons. They all started to blast fire at them.

" Sonic!" Amy screamed, holding around his neck in terror.

"They're too slow to catch me!" Sonic chuckled. He suddenly stopped as they encountered Ryujin in their path.

"Well, well, well. Look who we have here!" Ryujin chuckled evilly at the two hedgehogs.

"Ryujin." Sonic growled, placing Amy down beside him.

"You made a very dumb move coming here with your girlfriend, hedgehog."

"I came here to restore Amy's memories back." Sonic responded, holding onto Amy's hand.

"I see." He smiled.

Sonic and Amy jumped, grasping onto each other, seeing the ravening dragons surround them, hungry to burn them to a crisp.

"Ryujin!" Sonic shouted, hoping he'll signal his dragons to stop.

Ryujin raised his hand, making the dragons stop their attacking positions.

"So you want her memories back? I don't recall anything like that."

"Memories, memories of me. You have squeezed out every drop of memory of me out of her life!" Sonic replied with rage.

"It's not my fault that your sweet hedgehog decided to give them up for the sake of your life."

"You're right." Sonic tried to calm down. "I came here to sacrifice something else that is important to me to restore them."

"Oh, is that so?" Ryujin grinned evilly.
"And what makes you think I would change this deal?"

"To gain a little more power from this deal." Sonic responded sternly.

"And how would I gain more from this deal, hedgehog?"

"My speed. You will have the power of my speed, which is more powerful than many powerful things on this planet."

Ryujin smiled in desire from Sonic's offer. "Ok, you got yourself a deal."

"On one condition." Sonic added sternly.

"And what is that?"

"You transport us safely, without a claw, back in our land."

Ryujin smiled, understanding Sonic's point.

"What if I don't accept this condition?"

"Then you won't get it."

"Ah, what if I get your powerful speed, and I transport you two back to your land."

"Along with restoring back Amy's memories! Right?" Sonic growled.

"I think you're asking too much."

Sonic started to grow in rage from the ferocious dragon's deals.

"What more can I give you to be granted for what I am asking of you? Sonic asked coldly.

"I know! I say we stick with our deal, but I get to keep Amy Rose in the walls of my castle."

Sonic gritted his teeth as he clenched tighter to Amy, holding her close. "What do you want from her?"

"I think she would be my perfect bride."

Amy trembled from Ryujin's answer. Sonic extended his left, giving her a side hug for comfort.

"You can't have Amy. I won't let you even for a million years to give her away."

"Then I guess our deal is off."

"Then I guess you won't get that power you wanted in the first place!"

"Kill Sonic the Hedgehog! KILL HIM!!" Ryujin exploded in anger, commanding his dragons. Sonic zoomed off with Amy before they blasted fire upon them. "AND BRING ME BACK AMY ROSE!!!" He saw them fly with their might to catch them, but he sped faster. Sonic and Amy were far ahead from the dragons, close to leaving the dragon territories.

"BLOCK THOSE BORDERS!!!" Ryujin commanded.

Before Sonic and Amy could escape, a large lava wall formed high up to the skies, too high for Sonic to even jump over.

"We're trapped!"

"We sure are!" He looked back, seeing the dragons run towards them with fire ready to blast upon them. Sonic ran away from the pack of dragons, going around the edges of the borders that were surrounded by the walls of lava. "Amy! Call Tails to quickly pick us up STAT!"

Before Sonic continued to run, a dragon jumped right in front of their path, ready to blow them away. Sonic quickly dodged the dragon's fire, covering Amy from the smoke and flames. Suddenly, Ryujin whacked Sonic from running more, throwing him on the ground, separating from Amy. Amy looked up, seeing Ryujin whacking Sonic again, slamming him against a boulder. Sonic cried in pain from the impact.

"No, SONIC!!!" Amy cried, tears falling down her face. She saw Ryujin grab hold of Sonic's neck, ready to choke him to death. Amy knew that she had to do something. Otherwise, that would be the last of Sonic. She summoned her hammer, jumping in the air, then whacking against Ryujin's grip to release the blue hedgehog.

"Augh!" Ryujin cried from Amy's attack. Amy saw Sonic fall. She swung her hammer to the ground to catch him in time. When she did, she leapt, catching him before he could hit the boulders beneath. They both landed uncomfortably on the rocky grounds as Amy held Sonic tight.

"How cute." Ryujin chuckled evilly at the two hedgehogs, ready to fight.
